How's this for a resemblance?
Jerry Dolphin

This one is primarily on resemblance. It's not real strong on the other factors, but nothing to definitely rule him out.

The timeline is OK. The age is a little low, but not too low. There is no height info on JD to corroborate.

Given the circumstances of Jerry's disappearance, I'm not sure what scenario would take him from New Haven CT to Jacksonville FL.

did not see any rule-outs on the Namus profile for this UID.

this guy, Kevin Gardner, was missing from FL in Feb 11, 1996 and was believed to be the victim of a gang related homicide. was 5'8" which was within the range. Kevin was 34 y.o. which is slightly past the high end of the estimated range.

another African American missing male from FL is Edgar Forbes who was last seen Oct 28, 1995 after he left home for an unspecified destination in FL. Edgar was 21 y.o. and also was 5'8":

I don't think either of my suggestions are the UID. there is complete nuc and mt DNA for the UID and both Gardner and Forbes have DNA on file.

as for your suggestion Carl of Jerry Dolphin, I did not see him in Namus.

Minor updates to Namus including a narrowing of the age range from 24-28 (previously 23-30).

Also Distinguishing Features no longer shows on the public view (perhaps it still does to subscribers). As extracted from post #1 above:

Distinguishing Characteristics: Healed compression fractures and degenerative changes of back due to trauma and arthritic changes of other joints.
