Circumstances of Disappearance
Tamara was last seen at approximately 15:30 leaving her place of employment at Federal Foam Technologies in the 3500 block of 2nd Street N in Minneapolis, MN.
Her vehicle, described as a silver, four door, 1998 Buick Century Custom with MN License number 286CCY was located on October 3, 1994 in the Minneapolis impound lot, after it had been towed from a rush-hour no-parking zone at the front of the Greyhound bus terminal. It did not have a ticket on the windshield, so police are surmising the vehicle was in the spot for only a short time before it was towed. The keys were inside the car, which contained a seemingly ordinary assortment of papers, clothing and other personal items.
She had left her son in the care of her former husband's father. Later in the day, Bradley shared a meal with a friend. Bradley wasn't home when the boy returned from a weekend visit. There has been no movement in Bradley's financial accounts since then, and three of her paychecks haven't been cashed.
One of Bradley's coworkers at Federal Foam Technologies, 3558 N. 2nd Street, was the last to see Bradley as she left work. She was driving north on Washington Avenue, apparently taking her normal route to East River Road and on to the trailer home.

I don't remember much of my cousin Tammy as I was only around 6 when she disappeared. I do remember many many years of the family getting together forming search parties to look for her. We are all just waiting for any news to come about with her whereabouts or even an explanation as to what happened. Please help us bring her back home.

Hi RBNDBN,

I knew Tami back in the early 80s and was shocked to see her listed here.

Does the family have any theories or ideas of what occurred?

The Greyhound bus terminal really makes it feel like she left on her own accord.

It's possible she left on her own. However, it's also possible that the person who did something to her left her vehicle there to make it appear she left on her own.

Tamara was married at least twice (to Alvin Engelhaupt and then to Brian J Bradley, her sons father). However I am puzzled by the Social Security Index entry on Ancestry. I had assumed her maiden name was Hokanson from the marriage records. However, the SSI record shows a name change from Tamara Kenney to Tamara Hokanson in 1980 when she was 16 (her DoB is 28/11/1963). Whilst this is probably irrelevant to the case it is always useful to know all possible aka's - but does anyone know her maiden name and the reason for the change in 1980?

Tamara Colleen Bradley left work for the weekend, focused on looking for a new house. Her company, Federal Foam Technologies in Minneapolis, Minnesota, was moving to a different state and she wanted to move out of her house in Blaine, Minnesota and move closer to the new office.

Tamara never got a new house. On September 30, 1994, Tamara, walked out of the building and hasn’t been seen since.

...Wendy told Dateline there was no way her sister drove to the Greyhound station.

“My sister was 5 foot something, she was small,” Wendy said. “But the driver’s seat of her car had been pushed all the back when it was found. Someone else was in there.”

Just to update my post at #8. Her birth name was Kenney but she took the name of her stepfather (Hokanson) as a teenager.

Was this ever submitted? I’m not super familiar with the process but I agree that these look like they could be a match. MOO
UP2262 was submitted and ruled out as being Tamara Bradley.

Tamara Colleen Bradley vanished on Sept. 30, 1994, and authorities say they suspect foul play. She was last seen leaving her job in Minneapolis. Her vehicle, a 1998 silver Buick Century, was found on Oct. 4, 1994.

The new $10,000 reward is valid until June 30, 2024, or before then if it is claimed earlier, according to a statement sent by Bradley's family. The hope is that the reward will spur people who know the circumstances around Bradley's disappearance to share what they know and where her remains are located.
