[ame=http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?t=116947]Zahra Baker timeline and media links only[/ame]

Regarding social networks
Regarding facebook, twitter, and myspace you can link but do not cut and paste. But the goal is to really only link to those that are directly linked to a case.

IOW, we don't want to post to someone's mother, brother, employer, milkman , or postal carrier just because they know the main player. It just gets too invasive and half the time we are not even sure it is the right person. When a post starts out, I found 5 people with this name do you you think any of these are [insert person here]? that is not a good thing.

It will often be up to mod discretion as to who can and cannot be linked, but the general rule of thumb is if they are named in the media specifically as having some role or are being questioned or have information then you are probably safe to link. No screen caps and no cutting and pasting. If a social media is set to private and you get in the back way and post what you see, that is not a good thing!Private means private.
Just imagine if is you if you cannot decide and you shoulod be able to figure out if it is ok.

You are free to discuss what you may come upon, but if it is just a lot of gossip and rumor it won't fly. People open facebook accounts and post whatever they want and to carry that as some sort of inside info is careless. but, sometimes there is really valuable information that may even come into evidence as in the Caylee Anthony case. So, if you know for a fact it is the right person and they are named outright in the msm as someone linked to the case it should be fine. IF IT IS A MINOR DON"T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!!

If something was posted as public and then removed you might be able to post it, it is up to the mod of the forum and it depends on who, what, when and where.
The mods are listed at the bottom right of the forum under the index, they can generally help. If not, they will ask admin for guidance and we will all decide what is best.

Generally we try not to invade everyone's privacy and if the linked information has no bearing on anything, then leave it out.
We moderate here. Some people love it and some people hate it. Up to you to stay or go, choice is yours. Complaining about our rules doesn't help. if you have a suggestion or think of a better way, bring it on! We are far from perfect and welcome your input as long as it is civil and basically polite.

Has a photo of the ransom note been released anywhere that anyone knows of?

Do we know if the note is printed on computer paper, handwritten, cut-out from magazines (lol, like kidnappers still do that) - anything?

if memory serves me correctly, in the police report it stated that the ransom note was written on a Duke Power envelope.....:waitasec:

No, a photo has not been released. It was handwritten.

Firefighters found a Chevrolet Tahoe with its passenger door open and a "Duke Power" [now Duke Energy] envelope with handwriting on it on the front windshield, the search warrant said. They notified police, who approached the SUV and smelled the odor of gasoline coming from inside.
The note written on the envelope was addressed to a "Mr. Coffey," identified in the search warrant as Adam Baker's boss, Mark David Coffey.
"Mr. Coffey, you like being in control now who is in control," the note said, according to the search warrant. "We have your daughter and your pot smoking red head son is next unless you do what is asked 1,000,000 unmarked will be in touch soon." In the bottom right, the note said, "no cops," according to the warrant.

Ok I just found my way to the library and watched all of AB videos...I think hes innocent. I think he was very out of touch with what was happening to his child. I think he was shocked about what hes learned about his wife. I feel bad for the guy.JMHO
Ok gonna go watch them one more time

Aaah, thanks - that's right

So.. EB with her super forgery skills is able to disguise her writing so her husband can't recognize it... :waitasec:

I really hope you are right. I really want him to be innocent....he was all that little girl had.

I want him to be innocent too...I also want her to be alive, I just don't believe either one.

I can't get past the feeling that the fire was meant to be some kind of deliberate distraction. The 911 call was too bizzare.

I wonder if ZB was so hard of hearing that she wouldn't be able to hear all the fire engines and paramedics ect.. (right outside her home) without her aids? Because if she could.. any normal 10 year old would have woken up and checked to see what was going on! I'm sure she knew how to put her own leg on.

I doubt they'd be stupid enough to put her under all the woodchips, burn them, and then call police... She had to be not there at all during the fire, I'm thinking. OR locked in her room?

Just thinking out loud.

I remember a quote by him to the effect of "the whole marriage is a lie" or similiar. Does anyone else recall that?

Also, I read a post on FB from EB's ex that said the abuse didn't start until AB went to work, and that Zahra was in bed a lot of times when he got home, that he would check just not wake her up?

I don't think anyone could be so dense as to not be in on this tho...

And why would she use a Duke Power envelope when surely she had to have access to paper? Why would she want to make it appear as if the imaginary kidnappers never entered the house to get real paper and didn't bring a ransom note with them, considering that a kidnapper would be PLANNING a kidnapping?!?! So what, she wanted people to believe the kidnappers found Zahra in the back yard at 5am??? No reports of forced entry....so how would they get the child?

Hmm...I betting she wasnt there.

She wasn't hard of hearing. She could hear, she had High frequency hearing loss often involves loss of ability to hear consonants such as s, f, t, etc...

All caught up again. I just can't believe how strange this case is... I have a strong feeling LE knows a lot more than we do.

I'm hoping they are looking for the serial number of her leg for identification purposes... Maybe they found it? Though I think (hope) we would know if that happened.

Both of those 911 calls give me an uneasy feeling. The only time I've called 911 was to report a person parked next to my house who had fallen asleep with the car on and rolled into the car in front of them. I remember saying hello to the opperator but even then, in a total non-emergency I didn't ask how they were doing. (I only called 911 VS the non-emergency line because I was hung up on there and told to call 911, lol.)

That is an excellent point. I can envision the envelope laying around in the car (I have been known to have envelopes and bills in my car), and in a moment of brain activity, EB wrote out the note...perhaps as a practice note..and never really intended it to be found yet...so therefore, they had to report Z missing the next day, and not wait like they may have been planning to do. I really think she wrote it, was going to write the real one, and then the fire happened (maybe it was real?) and they found the note. Or they started the fire so they would find the note, and EB wrote the note hastily and in a panic, and didnt think about the fact that it was on an envelope. Just thinking here....and just my opinion.

When you go to there page, they talk about moving.

We will be moving Someplace Else. It is just over 1200 ft down the street to the former “Someplace Else” establishment. Our goal is the first of October, 2010. Until then, we will still be open at our current location.

We will be closing our old location at 1816 N Center St this Monday October 4th and hoping to reopen at 2039 N Center St by the Week End.

OK if they closed 10/4 and planned on opening at the new location behind the Bakers' "by the weekend" ... and the weekend would be 10/9 or 10/10, maybe including Friday 10/8.....then wouldn't it have been just their first (or maybe second at the most) day of business there when the fire happened? So I'm thinking...if Zahra was put in their dumpster, she would've had to be killed what, either Friday or very early Saturday morning? If she was killed sometime in the two weeks before that, her body would've had to have been kept somewhere and then dumped....?

I wonder if there was a trail of gas from the fire to the Tahoe? YIKES! I'm also wondering if AB discovered the fire because he would routinely be leaving for work at the time the fire started.

Someone possibly in the back yard 'playing' with a lighter? What if that someone lit that fire just before AB came out to get in his truck, thinking it would spread more quickly than it did....and the occupied Tahoe was supposed to go KABOOM!!

Anyone know if AB has life insurance?
