Sheriff's Office personnel and a Deputy district attorney attended the autopsy and it was our decision to arrest Michael Harder for Mr. Heck's homicide", said Churchill County Sheriff Richard Ingram.

Earlier this year, Harder pleaded guilty to several of the charges he is facing in Churchill County Court and is currently set for sentencing on July 6, 2012 at 9 a.m. in front of Judge Richard A. Wagner of the 10th Judicial District Court of the County of Churchill.

According to the official Guilty Plea Memorandum Harder entered a guilty plea (nolo contendre) to Count 1, murder in the second degree...

Harder could face imprisonment for life with the possibility of parole after 10 years.

Couldn't find any followup on sentencing, but Harder is currently incarcerated per Nevada DOC records.
