Circumstances: Christopher was last seen on October 27, 2010 at approximately 12:30 a.m. outside the Barona Indian Casino. His ears are pierced and he has multiple tattoos.

SAN DIEGO -- San Diego County Sheriff's detectives are investigating the disappearance of an East County high school student.

El Capitan High School student Christopher Carioscia, 17, was last seen Oct. 27. His burned car was found on the Barona Indian Reservation later that day, according to investigators.

On the night he disappeared, Carioscia, a Lakeside resident, told his family he was going surfing at Pacific Beach.

(Lakeside) – A parent of two teens at El Capitan High School notified East County Magazine late last night that there is a “major rumor running that there is going to be a shooting tomorrow at the school.” The source said the shooting was rumored to be planned in retaliation for the death of former El Capitan student Christopher Carioscia, whose body was found at Barona last week following discovery of his burned car.

Christopher was not the only teen missing from this school another went missing in March I believe and We have not heard anything about that teen either.

I have a Daughter who goes to that school and this has been being said since before Friday about a possible shooting. The School did nothing till today

My prayers go out to the Corioscia Family. I only wish there had been more coverage. Nothing was reported except one article in the in both cases.

Mickey Guidry went to san Marcos and the police department dropped the ball on that case too.
 
Here is an update on the case. The police are now on High alert because now there is talk of a shooting at the local High School. My daughter attends this High School and some students actually are wearing bullet proof vests. Supposedly after the notice that is was Chris some of his friends went the Res to confront the person they think responsible so now there is talk of retaliation.

Immay, it is more than distressful to hear the news you have shared.

I hope your daughter and all the other students are now well protected and safer at school.

Hopefully some of the students will seriously contemplate Christopher's death and make different choices for themselves.

A man who admitted killing a Lakeside teenager nearly two years ago over a drug deal was sentenced Friday to 21 years in prison.

Stanley Virgil Lloyd Jr., 20, pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and weapons charges stemming from the death of 17-year-old Christopher Carioscia Jr., who was last seen at the Barona Resort & Casino in October 2010.

His body was found on the Barona Indian reservation six weeks later.
