This freak was arrested back in August - the feds found 41 poisonous snakes at his home...now he wants to change his plea because "he didn't know his plea agreement carried a maximum penalty and that [his attorney] didn't do a good job."
Man wants to change plea in child *advertiser censored* snakes case

JACKSON, Miss. -- A man who pleaded guilty to coercing an underage girl to pose for child *advertiser censored* with poisonous snakes wants to withdraw his guilty plea.
John Joseph Maillet, 48, pleaded guilty Sept. 8 in U.S. District Court in south Mississippi to one count of production of child *advertiser censored*. A plea agreement in the case called for Maillet's sentence to be no fewer than 15 years in prison, and possibly as many as 30.
In motions filed Monday, Maillet said his public defender, Stephen Dick, was not effective and asked to withdraw the plea and go to trial.

Maillet, from Port Jervis, N.Y., had moved to Carriere before Hurricane Katrina, according to an FBI agents testimony in U.S. District Court in Gulfport.
Marshals arrested Maillet in Carriere on Aug. 5 after a grand jury handed down the indictment. The indictment accused Maillet of taking the photographs in two different periods in 2007.
The girl is now an adult, according to testimony.
