GUILTY SC - Arthur McDaniel, 52, Rembert, 9 Dec 2010

Sumter, SC (WLTX) -- The Sumter County Sheriff's Department is looking for a man they say is missing.

Authorities are looking for 52-year-old Arthur Lee McDaniel. They say he was last seen on Dec. 9 at his home on Springhill Road in Rembert.

Officials say he drives a 1989 Black or Gray Ford Ranger with S.C. tags FYZ -828

Deputies aren't releasing many details surrounding the search for McDaniel, but do say they suspect foul play.

Deputies believe Larry Green, 48, of Rembert, killed 52-year-old Arthur McDaniel on December 9. Sheriff Anthony Dennis said McDaniel was last seen earlier that day at his house on Springhill Road in Rembert.

Around 6:00pm on December 9, McDaniel told family he was going to an ex-girlfriend's house about half an hour away to collect a debt. Green later told deputies he hit McDaniel with a piece of wood and stole $300.

Authorities say Green felt guilty and confessed. On Wednesday, Green led deputies to a wooded area in Rembert and showed them where he dumped McDaniel'ss body.
