Lubbock Police discovered Brinson just after midnight Sunday. On Monday, authorities arrested Devante Lamar Jones, 18, and Zeven Sanders, 16, and charged them both with Brinson's murder.
The arrest warrant provides new information about the events leading up to Brinson's death. Sanders claims Brinson, a registered sex offender, touched him inappropriately last month.
The Sunday meeting ended with Brinson being shot to death. Sanders told police he and Devante Jones wanted to rob and beat up Brinson for touching him, but Sanders says a man they call "black" joined in and that he is the one who shot Brinson from the backseat.

I hope the kids who did this are afforded the same luxury that Brian had serving little or no time.
