(KMOV) -- The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department is searching for Jessica Eberhardt, 26, of High Ridge, who has not been seen or heard from since Monday, December 20.

Jessica Eberhardt is described as 5’7”, 175 pounds, with light brown, shoulder length hair and blonde streaks.
Eberhardt’s family says she was last seen in Arnold, around 2 p.m, last Monday. They say the 26-year-old mother was wearing blue jeans and a brown sweater when she went missing.

Jessica Eberhardt was driving a dark, 1993 Ford Taurus, with Missouri plates: F-E-0-V-4-Y. There is also an American flag magnet on the back of the vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Jefferson County Police Department at 636-797-6407.

It was located early Tuesday morning in a parking lot between St. Anthony’s Urgent Care Center and the Wehrenberg movie theater on Richardson Road.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Captain Ralph Brown says Eberhardt’s vehicle was still covered in snow from last week’s storm, meaning it hadn’t been moved for days.

Eberhardt's car was found at the back of an urgent care lot across from the Arnold 14 cinema. Police say it appears the car has been there for a while and is still covered with snow. The urgent care has been open over the past couple of days and no one really seemed to notice.

:rose: RIP, Jessica

How did the employees of the urgent care center overlook a car with a dead body in their parking lot?

The news story indicating this poor girl's friend told her mom to check parking lots sounds suspicious. If she was found in the passenger seat, it sounds as though someone else drove the car to the lot and left her there. At an urgent care center. Could she have overdosed on drugs or had some kind of medical emergency?

Sad story for this young woman and her family. Its tragic to see someone die at such a young age.

A bit too much like poor Rochelle a month or so ago, in Albuquerque, deceased in an SUV in a parking lot for a week before anyone found her...I really think most people are simply unobservant as to what is going on around them and that's why I think most eye witnesses are so poor...

I think the car was left at the urgent care center hoping the body would be found shortly. ITA about the friend's comment.

ARNOLD • Police said foul play is not suspected in the death of a High Ridge woman found Tuesday in a snow-covered car, but details remained sketchy.
...................
According to interviews by police, she may have died from a drug overdose, said Lt. Dave Marshak of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department.
...................
He also would not speculate on why no one had noticed a body inside the car before it became covered with snow, or whether someone might have driven her there and left.

This case reminds me of Mindy Lee's, from CO. IMO, her "friends" behaved suspiciously and were rude to Mindy's mother before Mindy's body was found. I hope that both cases are investigated thoroughly.

RIP, Jessica.

Prayers for her family and true friends.

Police investigating a High Ridge woman's death said today they have arrested three people for abandoning her corpse.
......................
In addition to abandonment of a corpse, they were arrested on suspicion of obstructing a police officer, McBroom said.

McBroom declined to discuss details about what the three allegedly did; he said more information would become available once charges are filed.

According to the St. Louis County Medical Examiner’s Office, Eberhardt died of an accidental heroin overdose.

Zachary Meyer, 22, of Imperial, was accused of injecting Eberhardt with the illegal controlled substance during the party...

On Oct. 3, Meyer pleaded guilty to abandonment of a corpse. He was sentenced by Circuit Judge Troy Cardona on Dec. 19 to four years maximum in the Department of Corrections.
