Friends say Ellington’s purse was left behind and she does not answer her cell phone.

Lee was quoted by WLBT news as saying that Ellington's case could be one of foul play. Kalahar said as far as MBI is concerned, they hope to find Ellington alive.

"At this point, it's too early to tell. We're going to conduct our investigation as if we are looking for a live person until any kind of evidence or tip leads us to believe different," he said.

ATTALA COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - An Attala County businesswoman had been missing for three days Sunday. Sheriff William Lee said he does suspect foul play, but there are no persons of interest at this time.
.......................
Miss Vicky Ellington was a beloved pharmacist that served her patients, the doctors, and everybody involved in her work very very well. She was a hard working dear Christian lady," said Ellington's friend Larry Routt.

ATTALA COUNTY, Miss. (WLBT) - A large search of the property of a missing woman in Attala County turned up no new leads Tuesday.
...................
Sheriff William Lee thinks foul play is involved because he said a woman like this just doesn't walk away.

The sheriff said Ellington was a woman "who enjoyed life."
..................
Ellington's Chevy Suburban was found unharmed in the Louisville, Miss. Wal-Mart parking lot.

The surveillance tape last showed her walking toward a McDonald's and Taco Bell when she just walked out of the camera's range without meeting anyone.

I'm sure it was done already, but have the police checked her cell phone records or her computer for anyone who could have contacted her, especially since she said she was going to meet someone in Louisville?

No Suspects in Disappearance-Monday Update - Chris Davis January 31, 2011

"Lee said Ellington’s electronics had been searched for clues and that his investigators, along with Louisville police and Winston County deputies had canvassed the area where she was last seen. Lee also said about 15 to 20 people had been interviewed by his deputies and investigators with the Miss. Bureau of Investigation."

I wonder who she was meeting and why park at Walmart (without going in) to walk to another place? She sounds like a wonderful person and I hope she is found!

I wonder what her demeanor was like on video (if you can even really tell!) This is so odd...I'm wondering if she had been directed in advance to park there by someone? I also wonder if the grandson had been in her care on Thursday...did she receive a phone call and then leave? Was the grandchild left alone? (I'm lost here, obviously!)
