There has also been a new lead in this case since OSBI offered a 5K reward for information leading to the whereabouts of Mr. Ream and the sucessful prosecution of anyone involved.

Just to remind anyone with any information, tips can be given anonymously via OSBI, the sheriff's office or anyone who is involved in trying to get some closure for this young man.

I received a note from the MedEx-the UID had not been compared to Heath before and she is going to pursue it, and let me know.

Tough to know what to wish for. :(

Does anyone have any way to get in touch with Heath's family/ friends? If so please ask them to contact our family at findanthonyholland@hotmail.com.

We want to form a 'victims' group for unsolved cases in Oklahoma. No work involved for them.

Thanks so much.

There's hardly ANYTHING out there about this case! It looks like authorities received "new information" about Heath in November of 2008, which prompted a $5,000 reward, but I can't find a single thing about what the information was that they'd developed.

One thing I did find interesting in my search is a poster named HelloKitty44's comment in this forum:

Heath Riley Reams 26, Msg 07/27/03, Oklahama City OK - Help Find The Missing

HelloKitty44 seemed to feel he/she had some information- and had tried to share it with LE- as recently as September of 2010.

Prayers for this man and his family!

OSBI Needs Tips In County Cold Case

Investigators say Reams was going through a divorce in the summer of 2003 and was staying with Bolstad and her boyfriend Todd Ross. On November 5, 2003, Reams’ 1997 white Toyota SUV was found in a pasture 3 miles east of Jennings.

Investigators are asking for tips in locating any information that may lead them to Reams’ remains.

In 2015, Bolstad waived a jury trial in the Reams homicide and pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter. She was sentenced by Judge Jefferson Sellers to 25 years in prison with all but the first five years suspended. After her release from prison, prosecutors filed to have the suspended portion of her sentence revoked after she reportedly did not inform authorities that she moved Pawnee residences in December 2016. That case has gone through continuations and the next hearing is Feb. 23. If she is convicted of that probation violation, she could serve out the remainder of the 20 years.

Heath Riley Reams was last seen in Jennings on July 27, 2003. He was twenty-six years old.

At the time Heath went missing, he had been visiting with friends, Amanda Sanders-Bolstad and Todd Ross. He had reportedly left their residence at approximately 7:00 am on July 27th, when he left he didn’t take any of his belongings with him. Not even his money or credit cards, however he was driving his pickup truck. After not hearing from her son for several days, his mother reported him missing on August 2, 2003. By late October, his family knew that Heath had not left of his own will; his grandfather who had been very ill when Heath went missing passed away, and Heath hadn’t made any contact with his five year old son.

On November 3, 2003, Heath’s suv was found by hunters locked and abandoned three miles east of Jennings. Several personal belongings were found in the vehicle, but no evidence of foul play was found.

In 2012 a grand jury would issue an indictment for Amanda Sanders-Bolstad, and information would come out that she had been seen driving Heath’s vehicle about a month after he had disappeared, but before the vehicle had been found. Prosecutors have asserted that Sanders-Bolstad murdered Heath by beating him with a baseball bat. Eventually Sanders-Bolstad would plead to first degree manslaughter. She received a 25 year sentence with all but five years of that sentence suspended. Meaning, she would serve five years in actual prison time for Heath’s murder, and will be on probation until 2035.

Heath’s body, to date, has not been found.

Sanders-Bolstad was released from prison for her manslaughter sentence in 2019, having served just under four years of her five year sentence. She is currently serving time in prison for charges unrelated to Heath’s murder.
