A funeral parlour that rented space in an Austrian nursing home, is in trouble after putting coffins in the window.

The move has caused outrage in the small community of Zeltweg in Styria where the coffins have caused distress to the residents and their relatives.

It's led to calls to the local council to have the Pax funeral parlour removed from the home.

Local Green politicians have said allowing the funeral parlour to move into a retirement home was bad enough, but said displaying coffins in the windows was 'callous'.

The town's mayor and landlord of the nursing home, Kurt Leitner, said he's reluctant to get rid of his new tenants.
