Years and years ago, he was appearing in my town - after his show, he attempted to visit our local nightclub. They wouldn't let him in, he had a huge, probably five foot wide cowboy hat on and refused to take it off. The owner was so redfaced to learn the next day who she had refused admittance.
 
ROCHESTER, Minn. – Gallagher's manager says the comedian is recovering from a minor heart attack after collapsing during a performance in Minnesota.


Craig Marquado said Friday that Gallagher will remain hospitalized at least one more night. He says Gallagher's two performances scheduled for Friday night in Illinois have been postponed.

Prayers for him and his family. Scary.

I loved gallagher back in the day. Have to say I hadn't seen him lately and now I guess I still won't since his IL shows are put off.
