SA Body Search and Search Of Grandmothers Home 3/17/11

http://bigcountryhomepage.com/fulltext/?nxd_id=353126

Law enforcement executed a Scurry County search warrant at the home of Shawn Adkins' grandmother in Dunn on Thursday.

http://www.ktxs.com/news/27233525/detail.html

Authorities were carrying out two search warrants, one from Scurry County where Texas Rangers searched the home of Shawn Adkins' grandmother in the community of Dunn, about 14 miles north of Colorado City.

The other search warrant was for Shawn Adkins himself, which means that authorities were likely seeking a sample of Adkins' DNA and/or fingerprints.

When Texas Rangers searched the home of Shawn Adkins' grandmother in Dunn, Rangers were seen taking boxes, blankets and other items from the property, KTXS has also learned there is a warrant to search Shawn Adkins' body.

a reference to the uses of a BLUE flashlight? Hmmmmmm??

Any Thoughts on this???

Search warrant for Shawn's body could also be for the *advertiser censored*.
An identifying scar, mole, tattoo.
Blankets etc.......also to match up in photos.
But with a blue light, that may be blood, fluids?
This is a very interesting subject.

The warrant for his body may be to look for any identifying marks or tattoos that can be compared to the child sexual abuse photos... Could be the same for the blankets and other items - things in the pictures?

I agree on the Search warrant for SA's body being for identification in reference to child *advertiser censored*. The warrant was out of Howard County where the majority of the child *advertiser censored* was found.

Please let him be stupid enough to have a unique or weird tattoo or piercing...talk about KARMA!

"its about dang time! are my thoughts, lol :)

But no arrest of SA YET???? Hmmmmm???

Maybe they are getting all of their ducks in a row...:rubberducky::rubberducky::rubberducky:

I'm thinking Shawn could have used his grandmothers house to film some of his videos, while she was away.
Blue flashlights, looking for body fluids, not just blood.
It has been stated how Shawn likes to make videos, no tellin how many of them were filmed at Grandmas.
Shawn knows exactly what is on that thumb drive, he should be shaking in his boots.
Shame on Billie for putting him before Hailey.
She complained about things being put out that didn't help find Hailey, yet she put all her efforts in protecting Shawn and almost nil in support of her daughter.

There would be no reason to use a flashlight in the house unless they were searching for blood - possibly looking for a weapon or bloody clothes in his room perhaps?

Frankly I don't understand why this search didn't happen at the same time they took the computer :banghead: since he said he went to one of these houses on the day Haleigh disappeared. It makes no sense that they had to wait for a GJ go-ahead in the case of a missing child since he was the last person to see her!

What really has me scratching my head is in the Video, They state they arrived at the residence at 1:30 pm...... and didn't leave until 10:30 pm....

They were using flash lights??? Why didn't they just turn the lights on??? Or is this MAYBE luminol testing???

That's what I wondered too. It looked and sounded a whole lot like the photos of the search of Zahra's house.

Which doesn't mean it was the same thing, of course.

I have a question...

IF SA did do something to Hailey, which county would be responsible for search warrants/arrests/prosecution? Would it be Mitchell county because that is where it was reported she was missing from?
IF they have evidence of it happening at his mom's or grandma's.... they are both in different counties, right?(Howard and Scurry counties, I believe) so if they think it happened in one of those counties, are those counties then responsible for the search warrants/arrest/prosecution?
Hope that makes sense lol I really don't know the answer to that though, and if anyone does... I'm curious :) thanks!

Yes the Flashlight thing really had me scratching my head and they were there from 1:30 pm until 10:30 pm that is a long time...

I do not know about Texas but in Florida when they think many county's may have evidence all the county sheriff departments work together with the Federal, and FBI...

Yeah, it would have made sense, but there's this thing called "probable cause." It protects all of us from having police just break into our houses in the middle of the night hoping to catch us doing something. Just being the last person to see a missing person does not constitute probable cause to search one's own house, let alone the house of a relative. To get a search warrant, they have to expect to find something specific related to the crime.
