Tanner, 5, Alexander, 7, & Andrew, 9 mysteriously vanish Thanksgiving day. The young boys were with their father, John Skelton, and were supposed to return to their mother after a scheduled visit, but never did.

The boys’ father allegedly first told police he gave the children to a woman because he planned to hang himself and didn’t want the boys to witness the suicide. His suicide attempt failed and Skelton was placed in the hospital for a mental evaluation. After a massive search across state lines for the 3 missing boys, police declared the father’s story about a woman was a lie, and investigators now say the case has turned into a homicide investigation.

According to police, since the boys vanished, their father’s story has changed several times. John Skelton, now charged with 3 counts of parental kidnapping, says now that he would never hurt his children. His latest story is that he put his 3 children in hiding, giving them to a secret organization in order to keep them safe.

With the missing boys’ father’s story allegedly changing constantly and massive search efforts turning up empty, we still don’t know the location of the missing boys. Please help us find Tanner, 5, Alexander, 7, & Andrew, 9 Skelton.

Five-year-old Tanner Lucas Skelton, seven-year-old Alexander William Skelton, and nine-year-old Andrew Ryan Skelton have been missing since late Thursday night or early Friday morning from 112 East Congress Street in Morenci, Michigan. The boys' father says he turned the children over to a woman named Joann Taylor who may be driving a white or silver minivan. After turning the children over to this woman, the father tried to take his own life. He is now in the hospital under observation. The boys are described as follows:

Tanner Lucas Skelton:

Age: 5

Height: 3'6"

Weight: 40lbs

Andrew Ryan Skelton:

The father believes Joann Taylor is married to Mark Taylor who the boys' father believes is a pastor either in the Hillsdale or Jackson, Michigan areas. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of these three boys is asked to call the Morenci Police Department at 517-458-7104 or the Lenawee County Central Dispatch at 517-263-0524.

Police and dozens of volunteers in Michigan are searching for three young boys who were reported missing after their father tried to hang himself on Friday.

John Skelton told investigators he left the boys with a woman he met online, but there's no trace of her anywhere near the small town of Morenci, about 75 miles southwest of Detroit and only a few miles north of Ohio.

Adrian — The father of three missing boys bitterly fought for custody of them and took them before without permission, according to court records.

The records show that John R. Skelton, 39, took his sons and announced his intention to move to Jacksonville, Fla., on Sept. 13 — the same day his wife filed for divorce, according to documents in Lenawee County Circuit Court.

We are learning more about the Skelton family.

The mother of the three boys recently filed for divorce from John Skelton and was fighting for permanent custody.

John Skelton said the mother of the children was an unfit parent. He cited the fact Tanya Skelton is a registered sex offender and is repeatedly in violation of sex offender laws as reasons why she shouldn't have custody of the three boys.

On September 13 of this year, Tanya Skelton filed for divorce, according to court documents.
