A soccer match in Nottinghamshire had to be abandoned after a brawl between the managers' wives.
Radcliffe Olympic were hosting Sheffield side Kiveton in a Central Midlands League game when the incident happened.
The Sun alleges one of the women grabbed the other by the throat at half-time in a row about swearing at the game.
Players had to break up the women, in their 40s, at the dressing rooms.
Kiveton, 2-0 down at the time, refused to play on.
The Football Association is investigating the game.
