REMEMBER: DO NOT post links to sex sites - any sex sites. Not even Craig's List sex info. NONE.

DO NOT post home addresses of innocent people or phone numbers. Do not name people that are not in MSM and/or named by LE.

No speculation of ethnicity. It borders on being offensive given that stereotype are not always accurate.

THANK THIS POST BEFORE POSTING IN THIS THREAD.

here is a link to a story that ABC news did BEFORE the 4 bodies were ID'd...I find it curious that at 3.33 JB says to a reporter "the truth will come out". The story was was about the search for SG, and to me it seems like he KNEW none of the four were SG and that's why that response. I think he KNEW that in a couple of days the story would be "none of the 4 girls were SG" and he was anticipating that, because he had that knowledge. I mean, if you are truly innocent--then you don't KNOW the "truth", right? If a person ran screaming from my house and the media came knocking and my door, and I truly had nothing to do with the disappearance, I would say "I don't know what happened to her" but any comments about the "truth" are suspect to me. Now I guess one can argue that "the truth will come out (and it wasn't me)" could be what he was implying--but then, you STILL are implying SOMETHING--bc she was missing at the time, as she still is. Just very odd to me.

If someone takes it upon themselves to give an interview, is identified in that interview and in that same interview basically tells the reporters/viewers to go find out the info they seek because it is all a matter of public record then hasn't that person then practically invited people to scrutinize their background?

What is the problem with looking at the possible aspects of that person's relationship to a man who has brought suspicion on himself (by giving two opposing interviews) and to looking at how that person and spouse are affiliated with a community that has DEEP CONNECTIONS TO THIS CASE? No one here has used this person's real name except MSM.

IMO, as a former reporter, a person never has to consent to an interview. You simply hang up, say no comment or keep walking. Once you start answereing Qs you invite scrutiny . One interviewee(sp) in this case, started to walk away at least three times and came back, offering information about his professional background. No one is saying that he is the sk, but once you put that infor out there, I think it's fair game to check public records/ JMO.

Why America Loves Serial Killers
They give us an alibi for our murderous culture.
By Ron Rosenbaum

Long Island again. Serial killer(s) again. The media have—a little too overeagerly—been conjuring up the specter of "the Long Island serial killer," even though those five words compress at least two unproven assumptions: There's no proof that the remains of up to 10 victims (so far) found on the sandy barrier island that parallels Long Island's South Shore were killed by a Long Islander, or even by a single individual. Or that they were killed on Long Island. For all we know, they were killed by a Yale comp lit professor, who deconstructed them in Connecticut and carried them to Long Island where he "unpacked" them from the trunk of his Prius.

[...]

But it's evident that in tab world, Long Island and serial killer seem to go together. I feel a certain responsibility for that, having thrown a spotlight on the L.I./serial killer connection back in the '90s in a lengthy essay for the Times magazine, when my "Guyland" homeland—as I fondly called it in tribute to the way the L.I. accent rendered it: "Lawn Guyland"—had begun sprouting corpses (20 or so) from serial killers like Joel Rifkin. It was a time when Long Island also had to endure the embarrassingly seedy Amy Fisher and Joey Buttafuoco scandal—and the three made-for-TV movies based on the case of Fisher, the "Long Island Lolita."

Anyone else thinking PH is drunk in that video?

PH walking oddly ( link @ approx 1.40 )

Just some miscellaneous findings ..

GC was at one time president of the Oak Beach Association, but I'm a bit confused (as usual ;)). The following article gives the impression that the Oak Beach Civic Association and the Oak Beach Association are two different organizations.

http://www.nytimes.com/2003/01/05/nyregion/oak-beach-warily-eyes-plans-for-hotel.html?src=pm

from Pg 2 of the above article:

... Jed Meade, president of the Oak Beach Civic Association, and Gus Coletti, a member of the task force and vice president of the rival Oak Beach Association, are concerned about the hotel and restaurant ...
<bbm>

Don't know if they mean rival to the OBCA (as it sounds), or rival to the development project.

Still searching to find out if there are 2 different organizations, or if the name simply evolved to the more current OBCA usage. I thought i read somewhere that the OBCA had 330 members, whereas the OBA consists of 80 homes. The OBA seems to be a homeowner's association, while the OBCA is a volunteer organization involved in various activities other than strictly home ownership.

Two members of PH's family and AC composite look-alike are pictured together on the OBCA website, in the photo of the beach clean-up

Re the curious addresses associated with the OB community, the OBCA site makes reference to there being "a separate lot #, street address & mailing address"

Came across the following comment on a NY Daily News article about the SK case:

I'm not sure when PH's name first came into the picture, but the comment was posted on Dec. 15, 2010.

Umm...how come we're posting here now? Did I miss something?

Sorry, got caught napping while logged in here :)

I meant the last video that was linked in the previous thread where PH has just arrived home, getting out of car, shirt-tails askew, lumbering around somewhat, and being coy with the reporter. JMO ... he could have a neurological disorder or something for all i know.

Thank you Sillybilly and shadowraiths. I may be biased because like others I heard that he has had issues with substance abuse. I cannot tell if he just has a bad back, is stiff with arthritis or is under the influence of something like drugs or alcohol.

There's another weird comment on there from Dec. 15 that we've mentioned on here before, I just never noticed the name of the poster until now:

"The Drifter
11:39 AM
Dec 15, 2010

Just think of how many bodies they'll find by the summer."

Really? The Drifter? My head cannot handle all of these weird coincidences.

LI Pete was mentioned several times by several posters there and then on pg 1 of the comments is one from "Drifter" suggesting how many more bodies will be found by summer. Those are creepy comments overall.

Am not sure what that individual's deal is but when I did a search on the nym, they also posted a comment to another article. It appears they're attempting to get people to log into their craigslist acct. Not sure why but it seems rather fishy to me.

Google results for "Pete from LI"

He seems to be a regular commenter on the Daily News. Haven't read them yet. So far just glanced at the listing summaries.

Comments to some of the articles have indicated PH might have been in a serious car accident a few years back. I'm trying to validate that but not having any luck so far.
