The above was not reported missing until 12-29-04 she was also reportedly 5ft 7in while Jane Doe was believed to be a couple inches shorter. The above is also suspected to involve foul play while below it is supsected she drowned.

Jane Doe estimated death was Nov 1, 2005 though she wasn't found until Feb 9, 2005. That's almost a 2 month time discrepency (sp?). I would think they would be able to narrow down when she died pretty accurately. Now if it was been longer then a few months it might be more of a possibility of the death date being off.

Now, obviously this is just my opinion and that of the examiners of Jane Doe. and maybe it is her, I just don't see it myself:detective: :)

I see the resemblance too. we have seen height discrepancies of 4" or more and the weight is a bit off but that might be due to decomposition.

Case History
It was determined that the woman drowned because there were no obvious signs of trauma no bullet holes or stab wounds. Investigators do not believe that her death was a homicide.
The woman was fingerprinted, but her prints did not turn up in the State Police database.
Although the woman was found in Hoboken, she could have entered the river at any point.

With the exception of the distance, Stephanie Louise Banks fits pretty closely to this Jane Doe.

* Height (5'4") is right (UID estimated at 5'3"-5'5")
* Age (28) is right (UID estimated at 25-35)
* She is a little heavier than Jane Doe, but not much heavier.
* Timeline looks reasonable. SLB was last seen 9 months before the UID was thought to have died, and her disappearance appears to have been voluntary (at least initially).
* Cowboy boots on the UID seem more consistent with a person from Kentucky than from NYC or New Jersey.

I think they look similar.. maybe she took off and went to NJ to commit suicide.. just a thought...

Submitted by e-mail to Donna Fontana of the NJ State Police (NamUs Case Manager).

Another thing I noticed is that the ears are spot-on (If the right ear in the recon is accurately depicted).

there is Kimberly MacIntosh, missing from Johnson City, TN on November 26, 2004. Last seen taking a bus to NYC.

Kimberly was 34 y.o., 5'6", 180 lbs, brown hair, brown eyes. supposedly had previously fractured wrist as per Nampn:

http://www.nampn.org/cases/macintosh_kimberly_m.html

per Namus she was taller at 5'8" and no mention of the prior fracture:

https://www.findthemissing.org/cases/153/7/

both sources note double pierced ears and that the only known clothing/accessories Kimberly was seen with was a pink purse. both Namus and Nampn say the UID had pink toenail polish and unspecified pierced ears.

I agree about the ears... I think they look strikenly similar!!! Curious to see what NJ State Police has to say!!

She replied to my e-mail, saying only "Thank you". But at least she acknowledged receipt of my message.

Maybe if you have no luck on the UID end, you could go with Stephanie Banks contact. Hopefully they will show a little more interest in finding out what became of her!!

A little off this topic, but the Cynthia Day case, the LE that is on charge of Cynthia's side screwed up again, her daughter is fit to be tied..I think yesterday she MAY finally be making headway.

since Carl's submission was ruled out, I sent an email to Donna Fontana with Kimberly McIntosh's information. that she was heading to NYC by bus in November 2004 and the deceased was found in Hoboken NJ in Feb 2005, the distance between the MP and the UID is explainable. (Hoboken is on the NJ side of the Hudson River across from Lower Manhattan).

got this response this morning from Donna Fontana:

Thank you Mr. xxxx for this information. I will follow up on this.

there are three new rule-outs but Kimberly McIntosh is not yet on the list:

Tina D'Ambrosio 1961 Arizona
Kathleen Meyers 1962 Delaware
Patricia Viola 1958 New Jersey

The actual location this Jane Doe was found was off a pier at 11th Street and Frank Sinatra Drive in Hoboken, NJ. I live very close to Hoboken and went for a walk tonight after work and walked along this area. It seems not only is it very possible the body could have washed up from another area including NYC, but there are a number of ferries and cruise ships that pass through the waterway including NY Waterway and Spirit Cruises. Cornucopia Cruises also has a dock at 11th and Frank Sinatra Drive. A bit of trivia: I actually went on Cornucopia Cruises two years ago for a friend's senior dinner reception for college. I walked over to this pier and took a picture. As you can see, the Empire State Building is right across the water.
