Watch the video you'll learn a lot about the operation and how information flows to the newsmen from the Whitehouse.

Evidently this compound is in the middle of an area that Pakistani military leaders go to when they retire. Pakistan has a lot of explaining to do.

Unfortunately, it appears the video was edited. Some of what they discussed has been edited out.

Here's an article;

Pakistan admits Bin Laden intelligence failure

Pakistan's main intelligence agency, the ISI, has said it is embarrassed by its failures on al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden.

An ISI official told the BBC the compound in Abbottabad where Bin Laden was killed by US forces on Sunday had been raided in 2003.

But the compound "was not on our radar" since then, the official said.

He gave new details of the raid, saying Bin Laden's young daughter had said she saw her father shot.

Bin Laden, 54, was the founder and leader of al-Qaeda. He is believed to have ordered the attacks on New York and Washington on 11 September 2001, as well as a number of other deadly bombings....

I like the article title. After listening to what Brian Williams says it's putting it lightly.

ETA: The article has a video taken from inside the compound just after the fight was over. You can see blood so it may not be for all stomachs.

You'll notice to the left there is an area big enough to land two helicopters in, that my friends is what they call an architectural flaw for a place housing the most wanted man in the world. JMO

Between the two buildings (residences) there is a little square building with a "dish looking thingy" on the top.

It has been reported that there was no internet and no phone line to the compound - but could that be a satellite dish? Wouldn't they have been able to "communicate" widely with that?

If I'm wrong than what is that dish looking thingy on the top of that building?

That's what it looks like to me too!

They don't have the full Letterman show up yet on his site but BW mentions a few more things like the compound is located about 200 yards from what would be considered Pakistan's West Point Military Academy. One helicopter went down but the seals are always prepared for such happenings and the body of Osama and all the seals left on one helicopter and as they left they blew up the other helicopter because it has a lot of stuff they want to keep out of the enemies hands.

Obama watched the whole thing unfold from the "situation room" in the Whitehouse in real time.Talk about can't miss TV.
