A former prisoner is hoping to take the fashion world by storm by making handbags out of old crisp packets.
George Vargas, 53, is using skills he learned in jail to produce designer bags from discarded packets of Doritos, Fritos, Cheetos, Ruffles and Funnyuns.
The multi-coloured bags sell for 200 dollars a time but George has been inundated with offers from his locals stores in Springfields, Massachusetts, to double the price.
The ex-con served two jail sentences for drugs offences, reports the Splash news agency.
