Totally missed this guy but stumbled across an FBI alert today:

"Eric Justin Toth, a former private-school teacher, is wanted for allegedly possessing child *advertiser censored* in Washington, D.C. It is alleged that in June 2008, pornographic images were found on a school camera that had been in Toth's possession. Toth also allegedly produced child *advertiser censored* in Maryland. In December 2008, Toth was indicted by a Federal Grand Jury for the United States District Court, District of Maryland, for production of child *advertiser censored*. In addition, Toth is facing a state charge for a sex crime in Maryland. Warrants have been issued in D.C. and Maryland for Toth's arrest.

SHOULD BE CONSIDERED DANGEROUS AND MAY BE SUICIDAL

Remarks:

Toth may advertise online as a tutor. Toth attended Cornell University for a year and transferred to Purdue University where he graduated with an Education degree. Since June 2008, Toth is believed to have traveled to Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin and Minnesota. Toth is believed to have lived in Arizona in 2009..."

A timeline and map as to where Toth has been spotted. Seems that he wants people to think he's committed suicide but there have been sightings since a suicide note was found.

I'm curious as to why you ask about Bevard, FL, Babyslims. Do you have reason to believe he was there? He seems like a guy one wouldn't forget.

And possibly a way out there thought--but there's an article in the Oregonian today about a brutal sexual assault and murder in Portland two years ago which remains unsolved. The name of the woman? Jeanine Toth. Longshot but it's not an extremely common name.

Hmmm. If you look on Intelius for Jeanine Toth of Portland, she's listed as having a male relative, JT.

In a nationwide search for a person with this name (unusual spelling), he comes up in Jacksonville, FL. Would that be helpful, Babyslims?
 
I went to elementary school with a boy with that name. Looks similiar and my age.. thats all..

"A former D.C. private school teacher accused of producing child *advertiser censored* has been added to the FBI’s list of “Ten Most Wanted Fugitives,” the agency announced Tuesday. Eric Justin Toth, who also goes by the name David Bussone, has been on the run since June 2008.

Toth had been a third-grade teacher at the prestigious Beauvoir school at Washington National Cathedral when another teacher discovered pornographic images on a school camera Toth had been using. Despite an apparent attempt to fake his own death in August 2008, Toth has been spotted in several states since then..."

From the FBI poster:

" Toth has the ability to integrate into various socio-economic classes, and is an expert at social engineering."

That makes him especially frightening, IMO. Nevermind how different he looks in the pictures on the poster. He seems quite chameleon-esque. *shudder*
 
I'm looking for more information on Eric Justin Toth.

Does anyone know what his general appearence was when he was spotted in Cleveland? Has he gained weight?

And does anyone know if he is related to a Jan Toth?

I am a security professional residing in a city not far from Cleveland. I have a very slight suspiscion that I may have spotted Eric Toth but am in the process of gathering more information before I even think about submitting a tip. I have access to a DVR with hundreds of hours of footage of the man who resembles Toth and have been combing it to try and get a more substantial view of his face but have yet to accomplish any satisfactory frames. I do have an ID picture of the man who I am investigating - I do not wish to share it at this time but it looks very similar to the pictures that are available online of Toth but with maybe 20 - 30 lbs of extra wieght on him. In the photo he is wearing glasses. The photo is not of good enough quality to determine whether or not the man has a birthmark on his left cheek. That is currently what I am attempting to find out. It looks as if the birthmark could be there, behind the frame of his glasses, but when I zoom in on the still it just gets too pixelated to be sure; it could very well be my mind playing tricks on me.

I came here to ask for advice and to ask for any additional information anyone has on Eric Toth.

Any other known aliases besides David Bussone?

Any other known locations/dates besides D.C., Phoenix and Cleveland?

Chances are very, very slim that this is Toth. I'm almost certain it is a mere look-a-like due to several pieces of information I have gathered since my suspiscion arose. However, I thought it important to see this through just incase.

Personally I hadn't seen this case so I am not aware.

Well, babyslims said it appears he lived in Florida at one time and maybe has relatives there.

As far as connections to names and aliases I'll at least see what I can find.

Thank you, I appreciate the input. And thank you for the welcome, I have been lurking on this board for quite some time. Had a hard time registering for a while but I finally got around it.
 
No problem. I probably won't be much help though. Izzy really is the one that don't miss a trick.

He comes up living at one time in Ithaca, New York and also Ithaca Nebraska. Then again he comes up as having worked for Bollywood News or something like that. Oh and the CIA of course as Izzy linked further up.

When I get a chance I'll see if he pops up under a "Jan" at all. It would help if we knew the full first name though.

Then checking the Bussone alias may help. I checked real quick and couldn't find how they knew eachother or why he took that man's name. Their ages are off.

Now we just need a mod to find time to change the title thread to LOCATED or FOUND or SOLVED or whatever is appropriate with this kind of case.

Love reading the title changes once a case resolves or a perp gets caught. Nothing feels better than seeing LE make progress.
 
I am SO tremendously elated that Toth was captured. The man is terrifying and it's way past time for his sorry soul to be sitting behind bars. I'm curious about the post above by the new poster, Eagle Guard. Wonder if Toth ever was in Cleveland. I think it's clear that he certainly traveled around.

He's a crafty one....that Toth. So glad he's been snagged.
 
Now, if Dr. Emilio Luna can be located. Thoughts of that man continue to haunt me. These monsters surely don't stop their evil ways while they are on the run or in hiding.
