Police in Aachen have taken away the licence of a driver who wasn't just drunk, but had his leg in a cast.
The 42-year-old was stopped as part of a routine traffic control.
But officers on the scene soon noticed the man was drunk - and could see that one of his feet was in a cast following an injury.
His licence was confiscated straight away, and he was taken to the station for a blood sample to determine exactly how much he had drunk.
"A court will decide how long the driver loses his license for", police spokesman Michael Houba said.
