Casey Anthony, a 43-year-old man from Darby, Penn., says he's "not the Casey Anthony you think."

But having the same name as the 25-year-old woman who last week was acquitted of killing her daughter, Caylee, is enough to generate hundreds of Facebook messages, posts and friend requests from people who want to share with him their thoughts about the controversial verdict, according to NBC Philadelphia.

And because his phone number was listed on his profile, he's now having to screen his calls.

Anthony will be released from jail Sunday. Lyons says he worries about what will become of her.
"I think she's got a rough time ahead of her," he says.
Lyons says people will be yelling "baby killer" at her wherever she goes.
"I don't think that's ever going to stop," he says. "I think whatever O.J. Simpson went through, Casey's going to go through 10 times worse."

Casey Anthony Jurors Discarded Common Sense

Alex Ferrer, a former criminal judge in Miami, said on Fox News that when jurors deliberate, they sometimes leave behind their common sense.

Many commentators have said we must respect the findings of the jury and not second guess their decision. That is pure baloney. If we are to maintain our system of laws, we should respect the jury system.

In the Casey Anthony case, the jury failed at its job, and a murderer went free.

The jury in the Casey Anthony trial was not instructed that circumstantial evidence is entitled to the same weight and consideration as direct evidence. Indeed, the words "circumstantial evidence" do not appear anywhere in the court's charge to the jury. I do not know whether or not the prosecution requested such an instruction, but the court did not give it, and apparently Florida law does not provide or require it.

The fact that Casey Anthony was the last person to have custody of her daughter, failed to report her missing (or dead) for 31 days, consistently lied once confronted, and the child was found dead and hidden, and she failed to tell what actually happened despite repeated opportunities to do so to her family, friends or law enforcement, (even when faced with the death penalty) was sufficient to find her guilty -- not necessarily of premeditated murder, but certainly all lesser charges. The duct tape and other forensic evidence provided additional, but not necessary, evidence.

Casey Civil Hearing Slated For Friday Afternoon

Greene said if the other side plans to ask Anthony what happened to Caylee, they won't get any answers.
"I'm not going to answer the question of what happened to Caylee, and no one else in this case will either," Greene said.

"She's under subpoena," Mitnik said. "There's no protective order, and she had better have her behind at that deposition."

Casey Anthony's father has made it clear that she is not welcome to come home when she gets out of jail on Sunday following her acquittal for the death of her daughter Caylee, sources close to the case told ABC News.

In another shot at his daughter, George Anthony is also encouraging people to sign a petition for Caylee's Law, which would make it a crime for parents to not report that their children are missing.

George's statement retracted...
ABCNews.com published a story earlier today stating that sources said George Anthony did not want Casey Anthony to return to the family home when she is released from jail. George Anthony's lawyer Mark Lippman has denied that George Anthony made that statement. "George has not expressed his feelings one way or the other. At such a time when he is ready, he will express what he wants to say," Lippman said.
