Circumstances of Disappearance
Tobin was last seen in the 900 block of Brown Avenue in Harvey, Louisiana on March 5, 1991.

Tobin was the owner of the Foxy Lady Lounge in Harvey, where she normally worked seven nights a week. She occasionally stayed at a mobile home in the lounge parking lot. The employees showed up for work the following day and found cash in the register and no sign of her.

Tobin's car was found a short distance from her home. Her wallet has not been found and there has been no activity on her credit card. Foul play is suspected.

Bumping for Flora - it's now been over 30 years.

On March 9, 1991, Flora Tobin was reported as a missing person to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office by her husband Joseph Tobin. Mr. Tobin stated to investigators that he had last observed his wife at their residence located in the 4100 block of North Woodlawn Ave. Metairie, La. on 03-05-1991. Mr. Tobin also stated that he had observed his wife's vehicle parked on N. Woodlawn Ave. and Glendale Dr. in Metairie on 03-06-91. The vehicle is described as a 1989 Chevrolet Geo Metro, blue in color assigned La. license 478N903. According to Mr. Tobin, Flora was the owner of the Foxy Lady Lounge located at 904 Brown Ave. Harvey, La. and would often spend several days at the business before returning home. When Flora failed to return home by 03-09-91 she was reported as a missing person. At the time of her disappearance, Flora Tobin was 54 years old and described as a white female, 5'3' tall, 120lbs., red hair and brown eyes
