A convicted sex offender can remain on the ballot in the 12th District congressional race as the Green Party candidate, the state Attorney General's office said Friday.
Officials said that, under the U.S. Constitution, Daryl Brooks' offense and the fact he's not a registered voter do not disqualify him from the race.
