Posting since this guy is on the run and could be heading anywhere.

He's armed, he's dangerous and he's on the run.

Brent D. Zubek, 43, is the sole suspect in a double murder. Decomposing bodies of a man and woman were found Saturday in a Chatsworth trash bin at a house on the 20400 block of Lassen Street. Their names and relationship to Zubek have not been released by police.

This happened a couple miles from my home, 3rd murder since June. A few weeks ago a man attempted to stab his wife then committed suicide. That happened 2 blocks away.

This Los Angeles case involving Brent Zubek is still pending and the suspect is lingering around in pre-trial custody with the Los Angeles Sheriffs Department. His LASD inmate record indicates he has two federal holds by the U.S. Marshall, likely due to his murder case being a probation violation on his federal bank robber case. The wheels of justice sure are churning very slowly

Brent Zubek, 46, was found guilty on nine felony charges, including two counts of murder and six counts of assaulting a police officer, Los Angeles County Deputy Dist. Atty. Michael Blake said. A San Fernando jury deliberated five days before reaching a verdict, prosecutors said.

John David Lee, 40, and Oletta Jean Williams, 28, had been dead for about six weeks before their remains were found Aug. 12, 2011.

A 46-year-old felon was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for murdering a man and woman whose decomposing bodies were found behind a Chatsworth house the three had shared...

The prosecutor said there was no clear-cut motive for the killings, but said there was “a lot of animus between them.”
