OK OK - James Pitzer, 39, Washita, April 1938

I just read the link about Mr. Pitzer. Is he missing? I could not find any infthing further about him.

Opps,I just realized that he went missing while on a cattle buying trip. i should really stop skimming these articles.

wow this may be the oldest case i've read thus far!

I wonder who he was buying cattle for. I doubt it was for himself, since he, his wife and 9 children never stayed in one place very long. It was during the Great Depression and times were hard, especially in Oklahoma. My guesses would be he absconded with the money to start a new life, was scammed out of the money and too ashamed to return home or robbery leading to foul play. Not a lot of info out there.
