Kudos to the parents who taught their children well and to the kids for following through with the safety plan. You'd think that if this was innocent (such as scouting for film locations), LE would have been notified. Creepy as all get out:

"West Linn police are investigating reports from some residents who said they saw a man and woman driving around town, apparently taking photos of children. According to police, three people called Monday to say the saw a late-model silver SUV driving through their neighborhood. A woman was behind the wheel and a man was sitting in the back seat and appeared to be taking photos of children with a 35-mm single-lens reflex camera...."

"...He said the children involved went to directly their parents, which was "the best course of action...."
