I hope that if he has any more terrible secrets that he will give them up, perhaps in exchange for pain medication..
 
This is the best news I have heard for a long time. I would hope that he would come clean about any other deaths he caused. Horrible man.
 
i only hope this is all true and brings some peace to the families of his young innocent victims, it will not bring them back but at least they will not have to deal with his disgusting parole applications every few years and other Clifford Olson "news" (like that he wrote book manuscripts and was allowed to make a video series about his crimes)...
 
I really hate that the victim's family have to deal with his parole hearings every two years. I guess he's getting his just karma while he slowly dies from cancer.
 
In case he confesses to more crimes, there should be audio recording equipment set up at this point and ready to go.

"At first, it was very much shock, then I became emotional, not necessarily over Olson but I became emotional over my son, his little face flashed before me, my children, my family, my parents who were so devastated by this years ago."

Rosenfeldt said she was told by the commissioner for Corrections Canada that the 71-year-old killer's cancer has spread through his body.

Olson may have only days to live, news that left Rosenfeldt in a state of relief, but also confusion.

"I felt, 'My God Sharon, I should be feeling yippee.' But I've been conditioned, I guess. I was raised in a Christian belief that I just don't get yippee over anybody's death."

Sixteen-year-old Daryn Johnsrude, one of Olson's first victims, was Rosenfeldt's son.

Raymond King, the father of another victim, said he wanted to see Olson dead 30 years ago.

The killer's terminal condition will never bring complete closure for the horror his family went through when Raymond Jr. died, but King said at least it means the families won't have to continue confronting Olson at every parole hearing.
 
Olson's victims are listed here in the order in which they disappeared:


- Christine Ann Weller, 12, was reported missing Nov. 19, 1980. She was last seen riding a 10-speed bike near her home in Surrey. A man walking his dog in Richmond on Christmas Day 1980 spotted Weller's body.


- Colleen Daignault, 13, was last seen April 16, 1981, when she left a friend's house in North Delta. She planned to take the bus to her grandmother's house in Surrey. She was never seen alive again.


- Daryn Todd Johnsrude, 16, of Saskatoon was visiting relatives in Coquitlam when he was last seen April 21 heading toward a Coquitlam shopping mall.

Could you imagine being the medical staff caring for that beast (his own name for himself). I would have a hard time following the code of ethics.

I didn't know he was in Quebec. WTH? Must be the province of choice for serial killers. So now he gets to spend his last days in a nice hospital. How thoughtful of the Quebec government to give this monster a bed whilst many are lying on stretchers in the ER waiting for a bed.

Hey why not get Karla back so she can have more babies delivered at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal.

Makes me sick to my stomach. ARRRRRRRGH
 
This vile human was a child killer. He killed at least 11 children. He was truly a boogyman, a perverted sexual deviant who is finally dead. He was married and had his own child. SICK SICK SICK.
 
Glad he's gone ... May closure finally come for the families and friends of all the precious children he took from my homeland.
