But Valeska Paris says she was held against her will aboard the Scientology cruise ship "Freewinds" for more than a decade. During her stay on the vessel, she alleges, she was forced into hard labor and never allowed to leave the ship without an escort.
In an interview with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation's (ABC News) Lateline program, Paris claims that Church of Scientology leader David Miscavige sent her to the ship when she was 18 in order to prevent her family from pulling her out of the organization

Seems she was on a "Tom Cruise":innocent:

This organization is so so creepy. It's like the mafia of religions.

There are so many horror stories with the church of $cientology.

There was an amazing site I found last year that had so much info, but I can't find it right now. But it was fascinating and shocking to learn what goes on.

The group anon has gained momentum and has their own forums now.

They also have lots of videos on YT. The protestors get stalked, harrassed and physically abused.

I respect everyone's right to have their own belief system, but I believe that brainwashing is very much a part of scientology, and when that doesn't work, they resort to some seriously scary and illegal stuff.

I hope that Valeska Paris can join with other survivors and find a way to heal.

Its like the song, Hotel California, you can check in anytime you want, but you can never leave. In other words, don't ever get involved.

That particular site was just plain weird...I read the first post (I think it was) under Personal Stories....so unbelievable that it is just....unbelievable. The person writing it sounds like they are suffering from some serious delusional illness.

I'm not a supporter of Scientology, by any means. But his guy's post isn't doing his cause any favors, imo.

Just read another one...it reminded me, strangely, of a story about alien abductions.

Church of Scientology is a fraud.

Do you mean the one about the musical chairs?

Have you seen miscaviage in action ?

(you can see the whole interview on YT also)

(the whole vid is good but if gets interesting at 3:05 mark)

Most of the stuff from various forums has been sent to the FBI- so they do pretty thorough checking.

I don't like the hard-*advertiser censored* vibe from a lot of the peeps from the anon site. But the majority of them are decent people, trying to help re-unite families.... and having peaceful protests. You'll see that in YT vids.
some of them have turned their passion into agression which is not what the agenda is.

If you don't trust that website (many of the stories on there have been dragged from other ex-scientoligist sites) try checking these and maybe the stories won't seem quite so unbelieable to you.

By the way- by posting this stuff they open themselves up to lawsuits by CoS if they 'routed out' correctly....which is signing a confidentiality agreement where you cannot speak out about your experiences.

What kind of 'church' makes you sign a confidentiality agreement? What have they got to hide?

Detailed and long interview with Jason Beghe about his years in CoS (contains profanity- but no aggression.) Really profound IMO.

Once you start to really research the 'church' you can clearly see where the delusion really is.
