Homicide unit takes over missing child case
Dec 2, 2011

snipped...

Investigators say they believe the main suspect in the case -- the father of the child -- is eluding authorities because of an apprehension order that was issued by the Children's Aid Society on Nov. 24.

On that day, police and child aid workers went to an address in Vaughan and attempted to take two children into protective custody. The mother of the children was arrested at the scene and one 11-month-old child was taken by the CAS.

The suspect: 31-year-old Ricky Doodhnaught, a resident of Woodbridge.
- a brown man,
- 5'10" tall
- short black hair
- brown eyes
- 240 lbs
- last seen driving a silver 2002 Dodge Caravan with one of two licence plates: BMJZ199 or BFJT783

The father, Ricky Doodhnaught, has been charged with abduction and three others have also been arrested, reported CTV News Toronto.

He has a bail hearing on 13 DEC.

Wilson said Rita Nankalie, 50, and Victoria Munian, 21, were arrested for obstructing justice.

(OT but I need a new mouse, it's giving me issues lately) does anyone know the third party arrested name?

Father of missing 9-week-old says his son was dead long before police search

In a statement issued Tuesday morning, police said Ricky Ray Doodhnaught, 31, told investigators his nine-week-old son George died on or about November 1, meaning the child was already deceased on November 24th when York Regional Police and Children’s Aid Services attended his residence with a court order to take George and another child away.

The baby has been deceased since about Nov. 1.

This makes me so angry! Grrrr.

This is something I just can't comprehend. Why, oh why would they even allow that family to take sweet George out of the hospital?? If they already had issues with this family, they should have taken the baby directly from them and taken the older son. I don't get it.

I felt from the very first day that baby George had passed away. So tiny and frail...broke my heart! I wish these two could rot in jail forever, never able to reproduce again, but our pathetic laws will have them popping out more children to abuse in no time. UGH!!

Baby's body never found, mom jailed

A woman whose baby son's body is still missing was sentenced to 27 months in prison Wednesday.

Nadia Ayyad, 24, was arrested late December 2011, a month after York Regional Police officers kicked off a search for her missing nine-week-old baby, George Doodhnaught.

She pleaded guilty in February to charges of committing an indignity to a dead body and obstructing police.

The baby's father, Ricky Ray Doodhnaught, 32, was already sentenced to 33 months in prison after pleading guilty last July to committing an indignity to a dead body and failing to stop for police.

Baby George Doodhnaught’s body was left in dumpster by parents, court document reveals

George Doodhnaught came into the world prematurely and left just the same.

The 9-week-old baby boy’s disappearance in November 2011 led Children’s Aid workers and police on a frantic chase for a missing child that soon came to a dramatic conclusion: George was dead.

[snip]

Now, court documents have revealed why investigators conceded they’re unlikely ever to recover baby George’s body. According to the agreed statement of facts, when the boy’s parents awoke one November morning to find their boy dead on the sheets between them, they disposed of the infant in a convenience store dumpster, swaddled in a black plastic garbage bag, never to be seen again.
