Daughters plead for help finding missing Hope Mills mother

Williams is described as white, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and 180 pounds. She has long, dark blond hair, hazel eyes and wears glasses. Anyone who knows of her whereabouts is asked to call the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office at 910-323-1500.

A woman's body found in a wooded area of Hope Mills Sunday afternoon was positively identified Monday as 50-year-old Edwardyne "Dynee" Williams, who had been missing since late November.

I cant beleive i found this. I have been following this since i live in the area. I havent heard anything else about it for days. Something is really fishy about the sons story. I read the obituary and it sounded funny too. The daughters full names were given as survivors and then it just mentioned son by first name. The father died of cancer. I was shocked to find out it was murder. moo

A Hope Mills man was sentenced Monday to life in prison after a Cumberland County jury found him guilty of first-degree murder in the 2011 death of his mother.

Robert Terry Ellison, 32, of the 1800 block of Canady Pond Road, will not be eligible for parole, Judge Jim Ammons said during the sentencing in Superior Court.
