It is amazing how calm this boy was! He is a hero.

wow - this happened on 29 Dec . . . PRIOR to the 18 yo in OK (so why was THAT Nat'l news & this was not)

Sister tells 911 operator she is hiding in a closet but that her brother has a gun.

Police said the teen (14) will not face any charges for killing Michael Henderson on December 29.

Under North Carolina's Castle Doctrine Law, homeowners can use deadly force if they fear their lives are in danger.

I guess they are keeping it quiet because of his age? There is one still on the run, apparently (going to sleuth)

http://www.wral.com/news/local/story/10559641/

Charged Seneca Henderson, 20, of 907 S. Beckford Drive, No. 134, and Jatwaun Donkes Davis, 21, of 199 Belle Russell Road, with felony breaking and entering, conspiracy to commit breaking and entering, entering a building with intent to commit larceny and injury to real property.

Andrew Terry, 23, of 113 N. Woods Drive, was charged with first-degree burglary, felony larceny after breaking and entering, felony possession stolen goods and misdemeanor financial card fraud.

All three are expected to make their first court appearances next Monday.

apparently, NC does not have the law if you are committing a felony & a murder occurs, you can be charged with Felony Murder

Good for him. One less ! :rocker:

This story was featured together with the one about the young mother on HLN News with Vinnie Politan the other day (2 days ago?). They played portions the 911 call as well. Panelists then discussed the issues.
