03/01/12 — Good Afternoon. There will be a search tomorrow morning 3/2/2012 @ 9.00 a.m. for 37 year old Kathy Lawson- Arredondo . The Command Center is at the Sharpstown Baptist Church located at 7000 Bellaire Blvd., Houston, TX 77074. We need all available Foot Searchers and ATV’S . Please dress appropriately for pending weather. Please bring your own lunch and water. Please wear your TEXASEQUUSEARCH T-SHIRT. 03/01/12 — 37 year-old Kathy Lawson-Arrendondo was last seen in Southwest part of Houston, Texas on February 11th 2012 at about 10:30 p.m. She was last known to be wearing pink pajama bottoms, a white t-shirt, black jacket and white tennis shoes. She has a visible scar running vertically from her forehead to her nose. She has a tattoo on her right arm of a heart with her children’s names inside of it – and the tattoo of a unicorn on her left shoulder. reporter--"Her family tells me she and [ b/f Steven ] Todd had an argument the night before she disappeared from his house on sandspoint where they both were living.

He claims that he left that night and returned around 5:00 A.M. and she was gone.

She was last seen wearing pink pajama bottoms and a t-shirt.

The FBI's Dallas office sent out an alert this afternoon seeking information about what Keyes' activities as he passed through through Dallas and Glen Rose areas between February 12 and 16.

Keyes admitted that he traveled through Azle, Aledo, and Cleburne during that period. Investigators think his rental vehicle, a 2011 Kia Soul, might have become
stuck in a muddy, rural area outside Cleburne. They also think he stopped by the Post Oak Cemetery near Glen Rose.

The FBI wants to talk to anyone who saw Keyes or his vehicle during that time. Anyone with info can call the easy-to-remember 1-800-CALL-FBI...

Although Houston is about 250 miles from Glen Rose, TX, Keyes' mo was to go dark and drive hundreds of miles before doing his evil deeds.

Details of Disappearance
Arredondo was last seen in her home in Houston, Texas on February 11, 2012. That day, she and her live-in boyfriend got into an argument. He disabled her car so she couldn't leave the house, then left. Arredondo and her teenage daughter then left the house on foot and went out to shop and get a meal.

While she was out, Arredondo sent her boyfriend a text message saying she was leaving him. They returned home and, at some point, Arredondo and her daughter saw her boyfriend go to a friend's house across the street. They didn't try to talk to him.

Arredondo went to sleep on the sofa in her daughter's bedroom. She was last seen at 10:30 p.m. When her daughter woke up at 7:00 a.m., her mother was gone. She asked Arredondo's boyfriend where she was, and he said he hadn't gotten home until 5:00 a.m. and he hadn't seen her.

She left behind her purse, money, wallet, clothes, identification, ATM card, and makeup. Only her keys, cellular phone, cigarettes, her engagement ring and a matching necklace were missing. Arredondo has never been heard from again.

Arredondo lived in the cities of Albuquerque and Clovis in New Mexico for most of her life before she moved to Texas in November 2011. Although there's no hard evidence of foul play in her case, her family stated it's uncharacteristic of her to leave without warning and they don't believe she would have abandoned her three teenage children. Her case remains unsolved.

Bumping

This UID was found a year later in Florida with an estimated PMI of 6 months.

No mention of facial scar or tattoos, although I’m certain they would not have been visible due to the deceased timeframe.

Interesting that UID belongings are described as the following:

Size 7 white sneaker, two rings: one possibly an engagement ring, the other 5 stones. A multi-colored purse with Taurus and Aquarius key chains attached.

Kathy was described as having white tennis shoes and possibly her engagement ring. Not to mention the recon is eerily similar to Kathy. I wonder if suspect has any connections to FL or disposed of deceased for a period of time until the ‘coast was clear’ and moved the body as far as possible to deter any connections to Kathy.

Kathy has been submitted for comparison to UP12430, pictured above in the side by side.
