Secret Service School Shooter Report
http://www.secretservice.gov/ntac/ssi_final_report.pdf

This report was conducted in response to Columbine and was released in 2002. It turns out there is no one clear profile of a school shooter.

Expanding the Sample: Five School Shooters

The article profiles Robert Poulin, Brenda Spencer, Wayne Lo, Luke Woodham, and Asa Coon.

There is no profile that fits, your right. I've read a few reports on that subject and it could be a kid who comes from a horrible hard life at home, to a popular sport oriented student with strait A's.

The only common trait is that they feel persecuted, real or imagined. Not all school shooters are bullied. Some school shooters are bullies. I remember a common stereotype for a school shooter was either a drug addict or bully. Drug addiction is not a factor for school shooting.

Why Kids Kill: Inside the Minds of School Shooters

I read parts of the book. Very eye opening about school shooters. It shatters many myths about school shooters. One myth that persist is that school shooters are bullied. Turns out, it is the opposite, school shooters have aggression and are often the bully. Eric Harris, Dylan Klebold, Kip Kinkel, Drew Golden, and Mitchell Johnson were bullies. If they were target of ridicule, it was often their own doing because they did something offensive to to other people.
