"A North Carolina man arrested in February was accused of filming male students using the restroom with hidden cameras, according to the search warrants released Tuesday. The Buncombe County Sheriff's Office released the search warrants issued on Feb. 1 when deputies investigated Charles D. Owen Middle School teacher Kevin Calloway, 41, after he was accused of peeping on minors...."

"A former Owen Middle School teacher charged with sexual misconduct involving students had as many as 11 victims and exchanged sexually explicit texts and videos with some students and former students for years..."

"...Statements taken by investigators involving teacher and former coach Kevin Calloway also allege sexual contact with at least one student, a boy who played for Calloway on the basketball team, according to court testimony. Most of the allegations against Calloway accuse him of secretly making videos of students’ genitals or asking them for nude photographs of themselves. Authorities had previously said they had identified four possible victims...."

"...In one case involving a boy in the sixth grade, Calloway asked the boy in the school locker room if he could take a photograph of his genitals, to which the boy agreed, Briggs said. When the same boy was in the seventh grade and was playing basketball for Calloway, he and Calloway would stay after practice and compete in three-point shooting, the detective testified. Under their agreement, if the boy won the contest, he would get the green light to shoot five three-point shots in the next game. If Calloway won, the boy was to consent to sexual abuse..."

"A former Asheville-area middle school teacher and coach is facing federal child *advertiser censored* charges, accused of taking videos of teenage boys as they used the bathroom. According to a February affidavit made public this week, Kevin Mark Calloway of Swannanoa was charged after one of the boys was taped in a school bathroom; three videos of the second victim were taken in a “residential setting..."

"....Court documents show Calloway has reached a plea agreement with prosecutors on the child *advertiser censored* charges. A plea hearing is set for Thursday in Asheville. Calloway worked at Owen Middle School in Swannanoa, but was fired last month..."

A judge sentenced a former Owen Middle School teacher to 18 years in federal prison Thursday for producing child *advertiser censored* by recording videos of students' genitals.

Kevin Mark Calloway, 43, also was sentenced to supervised probation for life after he is released from prison.
