Vigil to be held for unsolved murder of Kissimmee waitress beaten to death in 2004
Over the years, attempts to draw attention to the murder and generated tips about the killer have included a one-night patrol, the family's yearly vigils and the distribution of Balderas' picture printed on the eight of Diamonds in decks of playing cards distributed to Florida jails and prisons.

Kelly Ann Balderas Died In March
Nearly nine months have passed since 22-year-old Kelly Ann Balderas was slain in a cheap motel known for illegal drug use and prostitution, and whoever killed her is still on the loose.
Crimeline recently raised the reward in the case to $5,000, and Balderas' family is kicking in $1,500 more.
Now, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement is helping Kissimmee police -- who have investigated hundreds of leads -- in an effort to solve the March crime.
