The bodies were discovered on Friday in shallow graves at a ranch named "Honey and Milk" about two miles (three kilometers) outside the town, which is in the municipality of Tacotalpa. Their faces had been covered with brown packing tape, which caused them to suffocate, the agency said in its statement issued Friday.

The motive for the killings remained unclear, but state Attorney General Gregorio Romero said investigators had found no sign of sexual abuse or organ trafficking.

God rest their little souls.
God save our souls! Now we have to worry about our children being kidnapped (or even sold) for organ trafficking? No words to say how sick this makes me...

What a horrible way to die! Four children abducted and killed at the same time. Wonder if there is more buried on that property. So sad.

So sad!

I want to know what led them to that property. The article states that 3 of the children were sibling and the other was a neighbor.

How random

2012:

VILLAHERMOSA, Mexico – The killings of four children last month in the southeastern Mexican state of Tabasco were an act of revenge against the father of one of the youths, officials said...

Authorities on Thursday announced the arrests of the five individuals, including Agustin Perez Hernandez, 27, and Asuncion Paz Cruz, 18.

They did not reveal the identities of the other three because they are minors, but said they were between the ages of 15 and 16.

According to Romero, the suspects resented the fact that the father of three of the children refused to allow them to work in Tacotalpa’s Villa Luz ecological reserve...

The suspects also told investigators that a complaint that same man had filed a complaint against them for illegally hunting a wild boar triggered their plan to kill the children...

Authorities on Thursday had said all of the detainees had confessed to participating in the homicides and that the victims’ belongings had been found in the home of one of the suspects.
