Bradenton Police are searching for a bank robbery suspect who was armed with a medical syringe

At least we know this guy isn't suffering from a lack of creativity. :floorlaugh:

"Give me all your money or I'll give you *insert infectious disease*.

The suspect entered the Chase Bank and inquired about opening a checking account. Bank employees became suspicious of the subject because he was wearing a medical mask, which concealed his face. The suspect then displayed a medical syringe with an unknown liquid inside of it, and demanded money from the teller while making threatening remarks towards the employees. The suspect fled the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Approximately an hour earlier, a subject entered the bank and asked for change for a dollar bill, but then asked for ten dollars in quarters. The subject only had nine dollars and received that same amount in quarters before leaving the bank. Bradenton Police Officers with the assistance of the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit searched the area, but was not able to locate the suspect.

The suspect was armed with a medical syringe, and is described as a white male, 6’ in height, 150 - 160 pounds, dark hair, wearing a white long sleeved button down shirt, blue jeans, black shoes, white baseball cap, black sunglasses, and a white medical mask.

The subject that had asked for change from the teller prior to the bank robbery is described as a white male, who wore a white tank-top, gray sweatpants, and sandals with white socks.

Anyone having information with regard to this case is asked to call any of the following numbers: The Bradenton Police Department at 941-932-9300, Detective Jeff Beckley at 941-932-9328 or to remain anonymous and be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000, call Crime Stoppers (toll free) at 1-866-634-8477 (TIPS) or send an anonymous E-Tip at www.manateecrimestoppers.com.
