This isn't a funny situation, but my sister is notoriously forgetful and we joked during her first pregnancy that we hoped she didn't set her baby down and forget where she put her. It was a joke!

How does this really happen??? She must have smoked A LOT of pot! Thank goodness this little guy is ok!

Clauser, her boyfriend and their friends had been smoking marijuana earlier in the evening at a nearby park, but the boyfriend was arrested on suspicion of aggravated DUI when they went to a store — with the baby in the car — to get beer, according to police.

I'd like to know why the police that stopped the car allowed them to take the baby when it must have been obvious that they had been smoking marijuana or at least they should have checked it out.

This ain't your granny's pot that's out there. I hear "old heads" even talking about it. It can make you lazy sloppy and very forgetful. Couple that with concern for your man getting busted that poor infant about stood a chance.

Catalina Clouser, 21, pleaded guilty to child abuse after police found her five-week-old son abandoned in the middle of an Arizona intersection at about midnight in June 2012. He was alive and unharmed.

The then 19-year-old admitted to police she had smoked pot at a friend's house before driving off, and didn't realize he was on the roof or that he was missing until she got home...

When Clouser realized her son was missing and retraced her steps, she was arrested by Phoenix police who had been called by a passerby who found the baby.

'The car seat was damaged. There were scrapes on the car seat, obviously from a fall,' Officer Holmes told KTVK at the time.
