She's a mother to three. I'm sure her precious children are missing her terribly. :(

"The 37-year-old mother of three was last seen leaving a friend’s house on Tomlinson Rd in Caboolture on July 13.

After telling her friend she was going for a walk, she did not return home and has not contacted anyone since."

When Sandrine failed to contact her daughter on her birthday on Monday (September 3), Christine (Sandrine's sister) said she knew something was wrong.
"I don't believe Sandrine has just walked off. For her not to contact her daughter on her birthday doesn't look good," she said.

The 37-year-old single mum of three was last seen on Friday, July 13 after her mum Sylvia dropped her off at a friend's place so they could travel together to a Buddhist retreat on the Gold Coast.
"She wanted to find herself and get her life back on track but she never went to the retreat," Sylvia said.

"Sandrine plans everything, she is normally very organised and everything had to be pre-planned," Christine said.
"It's not like her to walk off and not contact us and there is no way she would not contact her children, she usually would contact them at least twice a week."

And here is the Facebook page:

Thank you for posting this. I have been looking for more info on Sandrine but there doesn't seem to be much out there.

No, unfortunately there's not. It seems she just disappeared on this walk. And there's been no signs of her in all the searches they've done in the surrounding bush land. I just feel so upset for her children, she missed her daughter's birthday this week, and from what I've read it's very unlike her to go without talking to them for this long. I really feel that something terrible has happened, but am obviously hoping for the best.

There hasn't even been much on the news here. I live about an hour away from here, and I haven't seen anything. The only reason I found out about it was through a friend of mine who posted it on Facebook.

So she wasn't missed for 6 weeks? Does she not have custody of her children, or are they grown? No info on the traveling buddy?

It all seems very strange indeed. Then there's this:

"The 37-year-old single mum of three was last seen on Friday, July 13..."

And this:

"By Monday (July 16) Sandrine's family knew something wasn't right and her brother Phillip, reported her missing to police."

So, why the long wait to alert the public? Also wondering what is the go with the travel buddy.

Apparently the police waited 8 days until they officially classed her as missing, and even then, it doesn't seem like anything has been done except the searches of the surrounding bush land where she was supposedly last seen.

I believe that she may not have been noticed missing as she was supposed to be going on this retreat with a friend (maybe it went over the weekend?), but when she didn't contact her kids her family knew something was wrong and discovered she never left. Although, this is just speculation, as nothing has really been released through the media. The articles I posted were the only ones I could find.

I don't really know anything about this 'travel buddy', either. From what I read it seems Sandrine decided not to go to the retreat, then went for a walk and disappeared the same afternoon she was supposed to leave. There's been no information as to why she suddenly changed her mind about going on the retreat. I haven't seen any names in the news as to who she was supposed to be travelling with, but as I said before, there's not really been anything on the news or in the media, and I don't live all that far away.

ETA: Only three news articles currently exist regarding this case.

I don't know why this case seems so "hush hush", the only reason I found out was because I saw a friend had posted her missing poster on Facebook, then I did a quick search here and found there wasn't already a thread, which is why this one was only started yesterday.

I really just don't know where to start with this, there's not really anything at all to go on. I just know that her family are likely missing her terribly, and they'd love nothing more than for her to just come home.

Why is this not being plastered all over the news in Queensland this is the first I have seen of it.

This is a very, very good question. I can't see any reason why this case would not be gaining as much media attention as the Allison Baden-Clay case in which there were constantly stories on the news and in the newspapers, but there seems to be absolutely no interest in Sandrine at all.

Thank you for starting the thread, PH. I'll do a little digging tomorrow.

The only thing I can find is the facebook page, I would think this is as odd as Allison's disappearance. Still looking though, maybe it is in local papers up there.

Family plead for help to find missing mum Sandrine Jourdan

SEVENTY-THREE days ago, Sandrine Jourdan waved a cheerful farewell to her friend John and left his Caboolture home to go for a walk.

She has not been seen since.

Family and friends have led a desperate search for the free-spirited mother of three, becoming increasingly concerned when the hundreds of phone calls, banners, posters and an internet campaign failed to find even the smallest clue to her whereabouts.

"She has missed two of her children's birthdays - it's just not her. Sandrine wouldn't do that," her sister Christine told The Courier-Mail.

Family of missing Caboolture woman Sandrine Jourdan step up campaign to find the mother of three

October 05, 2012

Since she disappeared three months ago, Sandrine Jourdan's bank account has not been touched, her mobile phone has not made a call and her car is at her brother's home.
And the birthdays of two of her children have also passed without her making contact with them.

But Sandrine's family is still hoping she will come back into their lives.
