I believe this is the right listing because I found a mention for a "Grace Lynch Jewett" which matches the maiden name in the birth record.

Sympathy To Sister Claire The faculty, students and alumnae of the College extend their sincere sympathy to Sister Claire, Dean of the College, On the death of her mother, Mrs. Rose Lynch, who died on January 16th. Receiving a most unexpected tele .. gram on Wednesday evening, January 10, Sister Claire hurried as quickly as possible to Sandpoint, Idaho, where she found her mother still conscious, though sinking rapidly. Present at the funeral were her two sisters, Mrs. A. V. Bopp, Sandpoint; Mrs. C. Stangle, Cour D'Alene. To Grace Lynch Jewett, Fresno, Cal., aan alumna, who could not come north for the funeral, the Col*lege extends its deepest sympathy. The Requiem High Mass for Sister Claire's mother, which was sung In the College Chapel on January 25, was re*quested by the Alumnae Association.
If this is the case, Mr. Jewett had an accomplished aunt who was a professor and academic dean at the College of St. Benedict in Minnesota (listed in the census as Grace Jewett's birth state). There is a hall named for her on the college campus and her profile lauds her for revamping the college (

I haven't found any sibings for Mr. Jewett, his maternal aunt was a nun, but I found other aunts and uncles to research (married names in snippet above).
