That's the gist of a ruling by a federal appeals court. The court has rejected Lonnie Maurice Hill's claim that his constitutional rights were violated when police busted him in a restroom at an Iowa convenience store. Police say Hill was partially undressed in the john and was found with a woman, cocaine and pot. The judges ruled that Hill couldn't expect complete privacy when he was using a public restroom for a purpose other than answering a call of nature.
Hill was indicted on drug-related charges. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced in April to four months behind bars.
