The mother only has a 1-10% chance of making it and she lost her baby she was 4 months pregnant with

He and his brother haven't been charged with murder yet.. just arson, but charges will be coming

I think i need a family tree to keep all the family members straight

Wand, her husband and their 2-year-old daughter escaped the fire alive. Their three sons, Allen Wand, 7, Jeffery Wand, 5, and Joseph Wand, 3, died in the fire.

Authorities said Wand’s husband, Armin Wand III, of Argyle, is facing a tentative charge of arson of a building with intent to defraud.

Armin Wand's brother, 18-year-old Jeremy Wand, also of Argyle, faces the same felony charge.

What drug is that crazy looking man on? Scary looking dude!

Here's mom Sharon Wand's FB. Her quote is heartbreaking. "Live for the ones you love. Live like it's your last day here".

Bless her she went back in that house for her kids.

Oh peeples the FB kind of gives you the family tree.

Rest easy young boys. I am so sorry you didn't get to live life like your momma wanted.

The two set the blaze in the home's living room and Jeremy Wand locked Allen and Jeffrey in their room, according to the complaint. Sharon Wand escaped with Jessica as Armin Wand III and his brother fled.
When they were outside, Sharon Wand handed Jessica to her husband, who held her up with both hands in front of a broken bedroom window. He was about to put her back inside when a neighbor stopped him, the complaint said. (BBM) http://www.huffingtonpost.com/huff-wires/20120911/us-wisconsin-fatal-fire/

Horrible, evil men. This crime shocks me, which is saying a lot.

Both men are now charged with three counts of first-degree intentional homicide and one count of arson with intent to defraud.

They also charged Armin Wand III with three counts of attempted first-degree intentional homicide, accusing him of trying to kill his wife and trying to kill his daughter twice. Jeremy Wand faces two counts of attempted first-degree intentional homicide in connection with the wife and daughter.

I wonder why they wouldn't be additionally charged for the death of the unborn child.

What these two did is something you would only think you would read about in a horror novel.

Jeremy Wand went to his brother's house just before midnight Thursday. Sharon Wand and her children were sleeping. She and Joseph were in the living room, Jessica was in a bedroom and Allen and Jeffrey in another bedroom.

Armin Wand III and his brother set fire to crumpled up sheets of paper and placed them under the futon that Sharon Wand was sleeping on. They also placed the papers near a TV and computer in the living room, hoping the fire would appear electrical, the complaint said.

Jeremy Wand then used a lighter to set fire to the couch Joseph was on, Armin Wand III told the agents. The father told his brother to lock Allen and Jeffrey in their room from the outside, the complaint said.

The boys' bodies were later found together on the bedroom floor.

Sharon Wand woke up to discover she was on fire. Armin Wand III told agents he tried to throw a glass of water on her and then ran outside to join Jeremy Wand.

The woman emerged from the home with Jessica in her arms. She told Armin Wand III to hold the girl and that Joseph was inside the house on fire.

Armin Wand III responded by telling his wife to move the family's mini-van away from the house. While she was moving the van, Armin Wand III took Jessica to a broken bedroom window, held her up with both hands and was about to put her back in the house before a woman stopped him, the complaint said.

It's unclear from the complaint who the woman was.

I agree! An eye for an eye. They should locked these monsters in a house and set it on fire. Burn baby burn! I hope they give them the DP.

Wishing the US had vigilante justice sooo bad right now.

I think if the US did have that then you would see a sharp decline in crime. Most criminal/murders now days get free food, free health care and don't have to work when they get locked up in prison. I see people say that they would rather be in prison because atleast in there they have free food and shelter.

I do not know if this is PC but reading horrors like this I envy how Arabian Countries would give punishment that fits the crime. We are too damn civilized when if comes to how we deal with true evil in this country.

This is horrible, hoping justice is served before any taxpayers dollars are wasted to defend people who need none. Some people, he clearly will blame it on meth, or whatever drugs he so clearly is abusing. Monsters.

At least the scum bag admitted to premeditation by saying he was planning on burning the house down for several weeks because he was sick of his wife complaining about money and wanted a "fresh start".

One of the worst crimes I've ever heard about. Horrific.

On the level of the diabolical, really.

Update:

Armin Wand pled guilty, and was sentenced to life in prison, no chance of parole. While I have so much contempt for this guy (not just evil, but stupid as well--the insurance policies he was trying to collect on were expired), I'm grateful that he spared the county the expense of a trial, and accepted some amount of responsibility responsibility. I do feel a tiny bit of compassion for him, though, because his family history is a case study in dysfunction: http://www.channel3000.com/news/Wan...al-past/-/1648/16612262/-/obg9tf/-/index.html

Sharon Wand, his wife, surprised everyone and has made an amazing recovery, although she will have life-long medical issues due to the injuries she suffered in the fire. She was present at the sentencing, and a statement was read on her behalf--there's a link to it in the first link above--read it, it's some powerful stuff.

Jeremy Wand, the brother, is scheduled for trial in July. Armin Wand has agreed to testify against him, if needed.

has a lot of info from the victim/witness coordinator who has been working with Sharon. Sharon is truly an inspiring person. I grieve for her, but am so impressed with her strength.

No compassion for any criminal.

Jeremy Wand, the 18-year-old brother of 33-year-old Armin Wand, has plead guilty and been convicted in this case. The plea deal leaves open the possibility that the judge could give him a possibility of parole, although it is expected that the state will argue against it. Sentencing is in July.

This last link has a video, that includes some of Jeremy Wand's statement. I haven't seen a video of him speaking before. It seems clear to me that he has some limitations.
