So it looks like Vernon was born to George and Irma, George later died and Irma remarried Victor in around 1929.

As far as I can see, Vernon was an only child, and Victor and Irma did not have any further children either.

Mildred Elenor Rutherford (born Russell) was born in 1923.
Mildred married Vernon Kenneth Rutherford. (I do not know if this is the correct Vernon Kenneth Rutherford or not)
Vernon was born in 1918.
They had one child.
Mildred passed away in 2004, at age 81.

Vernon was in prison in Nebraska in 1940 for forgery (and was listed as a transient), and he was writing bad checks in Hurley WI and Wakefield MI in 1947. Then I find nothing until his death.
