rules on RSOs

Here is the thread on RSOs.

You can link to RSOs in the area. You cannot sleuth them other than what is listed on this thread. If you have a question about a particular case and a particular RSO and what can and cannot be posted in depth you can post your question for administration on this thread.

((please note: questioning of what can and cannot be posted and moderation questions should not be placed on the general discussion thread. I hope that helps. If anyone has a further question please pm a moderator or administrator.))

From the Wesminster Police Department Facebook page

"The FBI has been able to rule out the Wyoming abductor in our case."

Thanks to b2alicia for bringing this to our attention.

I think some registries have completely lost their "umpf" because there are just too many people on there. I want to know who the hell I need to worry about, not who could POSSIBLY, SOMETIME, YOU NEVER KNOW blah blah blah.
from the last thread- I agree with you there. I think if there are too many people on there for minor crimes (like public urination, underage consensual sex), then there is the potential for people to worry LESS because they may start to think " well, my neighbour could be their for anything, there are people here for all kinds of silly things, plus he seems like a nice guy...". I'm not sure if I have expressed myself correctly there!

I think there has to be a better balance.

I'm sure the police are on to all of this but I wonder about that trash bag near the body and if it contained the body at one point. With Casey (guilty) Anthony I remember they traced the trash bags to others in the house.

I am of the opinion they have this guys DNA. And yes, he's wanting the notoriety and the fact that the cops aren't giving in is probably making his blood boil. Me thinks more clues will be found.

Me three!

I've mentioned that I know someone who was ticketed for "lewd and lascivious display" for urinating in an alley at 1:30 am on the grounds that it was in public, so a child could have seen him.

Well, any child in an unlit alley at 1:30 am on a Friday night in a major university town has a lot more to worry about than some 18 year olds urinating. Heck, they could probably run across people, ah, fornicating (such a biblical term!) who don't even know each other's first names.

I don't know how registries work in other states but I know Iowa has a long way to go to come up with a truly useful one.

As police investigate, they will be looking for signs that suggest whether the killer is a local or comes from outside the area, said Roger Depew, a former chief of behavioral sciences with the FBI.

A crime scene can help them determine whether it was the killer's first murder, Depew said.

"When a person commits a crime for the first time, they're not very good at it. Generally, you can look at a crime scene and see if this is the first time the person has killed," Depew said.

"If this is a guy passing through, he may have committed other crimes in other places," Depew said.

R.I.P. dear little girl.

Maybe today the bad vile creature will be removed from society forever.

Does anyone know if they are still conducting searches for missing parts of her body? :(

I'm concerned that if they don't find all of her, they will not be able to determine COD.

I can't stop looking at this video of her...what a sweet, innocent little thing she was. Heartbreaking. :(

We don't have a National public sex offenders register here in Australia. My state has only just got one, and by just I mean only yesterday! It is only for our state, not the whole country and to get the information you have to provide a licence number, address, phone number and email. The results are emailed to you and you have to agree that "you will not publish, distribute or display any photographs or personal information provided by this site without the prior written approval from the Minister for Police" or you face 10 years in jail.

Is there a scheduled presser today ? TIA.

Is it common not to release the name of an arrested suspect? They have charged him right?

Media and local accounts have said that they have seen LE searches in various areas. I assume they're searching for clues.
