Today is a day for hearing and motions outside the jury presence. I don't know if it will be live-streamed or not.

For those who would like to follow the timeline, here's the link to the WS calendar showing who was doing what and where before, during and after Gabriel's disappearance:

G'morning peoples! I am glad this taking off again. These 2 weeks of idleness are not good for the case I don't think. But we'll see.

p.s. I got the job!! :woohoo:

Has anybody found out if it will be streamed? I've done a couple of searches and there's no mention of the hearing (so far), just that the trial resumes tomorrow.

Elizabeth Johnson just arrived in court. Her atty filed motion asking judge to drop kidnapping charge; ruling expected today #babygabriel

not going to bring them over but Marc Victor is tweeting repeatedly about motion to dismiss with link to last Fridays kpho article.

Judge in Elizabeth Johnson trial denies 1 motion to dismiss kidnap charge. Taking 2nd under advisement. Could rule after lunch

Hadn't heard yet which motion - I'm assuming (so don't hold me to it - you know what they say when you "assume") they handled the first one filed first, which was the one where Gabriel was not the intended victim - his "bombshell" from last week.

Well, rereading Corey Rangel tweet, I think I'm wrong - it sounds like the motion to dismiss kidnapping charges altogether was denied.

That leaves the aggravating factors to be considered after lunch.

Elizabeth better put her big girl panties on cause she's headed to prison for a very long time. My faith in the judicial system is restored, I pray that we won't be disappointed when the verdict comes down.

From what I can tell, Mr. Victor is trying to win the case through jury instructions.

I was so relieved that Ms. Andrews saw fit to remind him that Gabriel is listed as A victim in the original indictment!
