'Body Worlds' exhibit is for real

Headed for Franklin Institute.

By Peter Dobrin
Inquirer Culture Writer

In its latest play for blockbuster-size audiences, the Franklin Institute is importing "Body Worlds," a traveling exhibition that includes 200 human-body parts and 25 human bodies.

Real body parts. Real human cadavers.

It's in Chicago Illinois now. The news cast have done alot of coverage on it.

While technically I don't object, personally I think I will pass. The only reason they use real bodies is for the sensationalism. They could have had the same exibit, only using plastic models and exhibits.

Having seen and experienced the exhibit, this is where I know you are wrong. No, they could not. Besides the medical research/teaching ability of these real bodies could never be achieved by plastic models. If plastic models could teach as well as these real life bodies, then, med students would never have to study/disect cadavers.

jmho, of course.
