The oldest of Aguirre’s five children, 17-year-old daughter Josandy Alvarez, set off a search after receiving an alarming text at 3:29 p.m. Dec. 15:
“No me dejan salir, Josy. Me golpearon bien feo.” “They won’t let me leave, Josy. They beat me up really bad.”
“Dónde estás?” “Where are you?” she responded.
Josandy still waits. The slim teen shoulders much of the responsibility for finding her mother.

Josandy said her mother didn’t tell her why she was leaving on Dec. 14 or whom she was going to see.
A few days later, her mother’s truck was found three blocks from the family’s 800-square-foot frame house in west Oak Cliff. That’s why Josandy believes her mother didn’t simply run off.
Had she done so, the daughter said, she would have kept the truck. A cellphone was found in the truck, but it isn’t the most recent one with current text messages, Josandy said.
Israel Alvarez, 36, said his wife didn’t take clothes or even her wallet.

It says her truck was found just three blocks away from home. Not good. Poor kids.

So very sad. Five kids are motherless now. :(
May she rest in peace.
