This thread is for questions about the Adult Entertainment Industry as it relates to this case.

*A story about Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody*

This is a story about four people: Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.

There was an important job to be done and Everybody was asked to do it.
Everybody was sure Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody
wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when actually Nobody asked Anybody.

So I just did it ;)

It is no secret that I have been retired from "The business" for @6 yrs. prior to that. I worked in the industry for 12 yrs., both dancing in gentlemens clubs, and, as a call girl. I started working for services who advertised in the Yellow Pages. Soon after, I learned I could cut out the middleman, so I opened my own service and advertised and promoted adult Entertainment. My personal experience was after @6 mo. of selling sex, I realized that there were men out there who would pay for things like Massage, erotic theatre, domination, fantasy role play and foot fetishes. I "evolved". I promoted these services and provided nothing more. I had the woman that I promoted sign a contract saying theyes would not sell sex. Of course, I know some did...I'm not a fool, but when a guy called I would quote a price and explain what that included, saying anything else between them and the entertainer.. When I would go on a call, and a client would insist on sex, I would explain that the services did not include sex and "What did you think, I was a prostitute? Oh no! There are no refunds." Bad for repeat business, but it worked for me. Needless to say, I had to be "on point" @ safety, as some didn'tappreciate me walking out with there money and all they had to show for it was a sticky hand. I had a couple close calls, but for the most part, most of the cliets were happy with the services I did provide. . Some may say I ripped them off, but I never promised something that I knew I wouldn't provide. I did what offered, no more, no less.

Maybe the way I did things, limit my ability to be of any help, but maybe not. I've seen it all.I have never advertised on Craigslist and never posted on forums. I don't even like to read the posts that have been linked here. Times have changed.

I have a question for you Moon. Have you advertised on Craigslist and used these forus? Howdoes it affect business when clients are critiqueing the providers on an open forum, based on whether or not they enjoyed your service? I mean this type of forum, back in the day, would have ground my service to a halt!

Sorry @ the punctuation and structure of the above post. It was a long one and I am on my phone. It's near impossible to edit a long post.

Oh, and if anyone want's to think less of me, Oh well. I found a way to survive while keeping my self respect mostly intact. I did it on my own terms.

In the town I lived and worked in there was a horrific murder of an "escort" EB by a freak named Brandon Grady. He drove into town, went to Walmart purchased a sledge hammer and a buck knife, rented a room and called the very first service listed. A friend and I worked for this same service at the time. We were up all night waiting for calls from either that service or the service I ran. It was a blizzard that night, so as much as we wanted to make money, we kept blowing off the calls that came in.

EB worked for that service, and while I didn't know her, I knew people who worked with her as almost everyone networked.

EB showed up for this call and to make a long horrifiying story short she was hit in the head with the sledgehammer and sliced from rooter to tooter. The things he admitted doing to her are dispicable. The ME said it was the most horrific murder in the city's history.

This was ALL over the newspapers at the time, however now I can't find much. I suposse they are archived or something.

After mutalating her he wrote on her leg in lipstick "An eye for an eye, a life for a life"
He was angry with how other escorts had treated him in the past.
I wonder if the MV and the LISK might also be angry with women in the business.
I will NEVER forget EBs tragic death. It haunts me.
RIP EB

I wonder if maybe the killer/s in these cases (LISK) and (MV) had ran into someone who did business like I did and took it as rejection and became enraged with all women in the business? Maybe wanted to punish them?

The BBM writing or message...sounds like he was "settling some perceived score." Maybe either a loved one or he himself was destroyed by this business or lifestyle. This was some sort of revenge-type killing. I doubt that he had a bad service or felt "ripped off."

No, he gave a full confession and he said as much. He had used services before and didnt like how he had been treated. So the anger was towards escorts. He was also obsessed with human visera since he was in high school. I will dig deeper try to find some more links.

It seems that most of the articles are indeed archived and it also seems as if you have to pay to veiw them now. I followed the case VERY closely. I remember reading that he WAS angry with escorts because of how he felt they treated him in the past.

I wonder @the CCC and the comradery between these guys on the forums, and if it doesn't make them feel bolder to do things they might not without it.
A pissing contest of sorts.

Thank you for sharing your past with us.
I don't think any less of you. The sex trade and like businesses exist, have always existed, and will always exist. Pretending that the people who work in these businesses aren't "real" people or shaming them into never telling their stories is a disservice to the people who do such work, investigations like these, and to society. It makes sex workers seem disposable.

In fact, I admire your courage to tell complete strangers online about your experiences. Your honesty helps fill in the gaps about the culture (of the sex trade) in which the victims were working.

I admire your bravery & honesty.

Yes, that was my primary way to advertise. I never walked the streets or used any business, pimps, or services, although I have had close calls with people trying to claim me as 'their girl' aka, they were my pimp... no, not happening.

If you get a bad review, it of course probably only affects the people who visit that site. Most of the people on craig/back are people just looking for a quick get up and go. The ones in forums usually go off of other peoples word, but sometimes they also TOFTT (take one for the team, or meet a new, un-reviewed female).

I don't know if that helped or not, but I'm able to take questions pertaining to the internet portion of it. :fence:

that would be their loss-I am glad you are here and share your ideas/thoughts--stay strong

I was always a independant provider. No pimps, or security, no working with other girls. It was always just me, myself, and some dirt bag. :what:

Thanks Moon! :floorlaugh: @ toftt. The whole internet aspect of the game is foreign to me.

I also want to thank the members here who have made me feel comfortable enough to share w/out feeling judged.
I hope you feel as welcome here as I do Moon. Glad to have you aboard.
Now let's catch the *advertiser censored*/s responsible!

LOl Justice! I was waiting for a mod to approve the title for my thread. I was having trouble trying to find a way to word it (given the subject matter).

Thanks for being the "someone" who just did it. :)

(I really hate starting threads! Is that obvious?) ;)

You got me thinking. I hope I can word this so it makes sense. Not including SG, none of the victims had EFFECTIVE security measures in place at the time of their deaths. Unless you assume that the two male MV victims were connected to the female victims found in the same vicinity and, had to be killed, as a means to an end.

How did the killer/s KNOW this? He/they HAD to have spent time talking to the victims ie.. many phone conversations, a few "dates". IMO he let them know he was uncomfortable with the idea of a "pimp" or "service" "driver". He wanted an independent provider.

For whatever reason, the women took the chance OR just didn't have reliable, dependable, effective security and felt safe (or desperate, to pay the rent, buy drugs, whatever ) enough to go with him despite this.

I know this has been discussed before, however I am now CONVINCED that the killer took the time (stalked) his victims to assure that he wouldn't have to deal with the hassle of a third party.

No doubt about it.

I completely agree, Justice. I'm positive he courted these girls. Not so sure about Amber. I think it's possible that, due to her heroin addiction, she let her guard down for a large sum of money. But if we look at the case of Melissa, we see that she was offered a large sum of money and was secretive about who she was going to meet. Megan waited until AC had left, and then walked to meet her last client. Why not see him in her room, since this is what the room was booked for? Maureen, we know, had already checked out of her room and was looking for a way back to Connecticut. She's called friends and family, and they weren't able to come get her. Did she perhaps call a client she felt she knew well and trusted? :waitasec:
